The first time I heard of Lost Bets Games, I thought, holy shit, that’s got to be the worst name I’ve ever heard for a casino. Fortunately, this ain’t another internet gambling den, but a joint that caters to my preferred vice: jacking off. Given that funny title, you can bet there’s an unusual gimmick at play here, but what could it be? I’d wager a rubdown from your wife that you can’t guess what it is.

LotsBetsGames.com is a premium porn site where beautiful girls lose bets and have to pay up. They’re not putting down their paychecks or risking their wedding rings, though; the stakes here include nude acrobatic shows, showing the pizza guy your muff or straight-up sex on camera. They’ve been putting out movies since 2009 and still have fans clamoring for more, and frankly I felt like I was pretty fucking late for the party. Well, hopefully it’s not too late to place a bet…

Checking the Odds at LostBetsGames

Before I started whipping up this review, I flipped to the last page of content at LostBetsGames to see what year they opened their doors. I can’t say I was surprised that they’ve been around for a minute, because it’s pretty apparent from the layout, the color scheme, the logo and the header graphics. It looks a little crusty as far as the presentation goes, but there is a certain old-school amateur charm to it.

Let’s talk about what “amateur” means here, because it’s got multiple meanings within the world of smut alone. “These girls are not your typical pornstars that you see everywhere,” LostBetsGames writes on the front page. “They are your average everyday next-door girls.” Sure enough, they’re shooting with real unknowns, small-timers and only the occasional familiar face. All of the women out front are lovely, but the only one I recognize was Isabelle Love, who’s also done some work with me over at PornDudeCasting.

These guys aren’t putting out the kind of shaky 30-second blowjob clips that get tagged as “amateur” on all the free tubes, but it’s obvious they don’t have the same budget of outfits like Reality Kings or TeamSkeet. I found search results for every keyword I typed into the box, though I didn’t find a full, browsable tags index anywhere. One complaint I do have is that the search function flicks through the entire website, including bonus videos, which kind of muddies the water if you want the lost bet setup with your sex subgenre of choice.

Finally, after writing most of this review, it was time to settle in and see how well I could get off to LostBetsGames.com. I pulled up one of the latest films, a movie called Strip Hangman with Aften, Ashley and Matt. Tagged with Embarrassment, Blow jobs, Threesomes and Bondage, I knew I was in for a good time. It opens with the babes introducing themselves to the camera, explaining that they’re going to be playing a game of strip hangman.

It's a half hour video, and as you might imagine, there’s a fair amount of buildup as they guess letters and add limbs to the stickman. Aften is naked by the ten-minute mark, so it pays off, and the tension feels great. By the midway point, both women are fully nude, and the fucking ensues soon after.

As much as I loved the movie, I did wonder how recently it was filmed. Some of the flicks in the catalog look pretty old, like they’re being recycled as “new” updates even though they were shot years ago. Besides the grainy quality of the videos, it seemed like I saw a lot of outdated clothing and décor. Then again, maybe they just shot those particular scenes while visiting grandma in Eastern Europe.

LotsBetsGames.com is one of the better professional-amateur sites I’ve seen in a while. The whole lost bet thing is a great way to set up the sex, but personally, my favorite thing is the sex itself. I think these guys have been around so long because, gimmick aside, they’re making some pretty fucking great pornos.
