They go by the mantra ‘it’s what’s on the web’ which is fitting considering they literally cover everything that can be found on the internet. It looks to me like the perfect site to let you discover the vast world of online videos and video sites including those offering adult content.

Site design and navigation

To be honest, the first time I visited OVGuide, I almost thought it was a premium site. That’s how slick and modern the site design is. It’s clean without a single blemish on sight, and the white background against high res images describing various aspects of the site gives it a cool look. The contents are well arranged, and everything can be read from a million miles. Clearly, the site has gone the extra mile to make the design as user-friendly as possible.

With tens of thousands worth of directories, OVGuide has put in a considerable amount of effort to come up with an instinctive structure of navigation. With just a click of a button, you can be knee deep into thousands of videos regardless of which page you are on the site. The navigation on the left side is well placed so users won’t feel lost or overwhelmed. In any case, there is a search option at the top right corner for convenience purposes. Every link I clicked on was working, and because there is so much content to look out for, I suggest you merely browse around the categories to see what’s in store. OVGuide is a huge fucking site with so much to offer, but luckily, the navigation is top notch.

Only interested in the adult content

There is so much to look forward to at OVGuide. You just have to head over the left sidebar where there are endless options including movies, animation, sports, music and entertainment, food/wine, health and fitness and so much more. Whatever aspect of online videos your mind can conjure, it's right fucking here. But as you would imagine, I came here looking for adult content which can be found on the adult tab at the bottom right of the navigation.

When you click on ‘adults,’ you are taken to a page where you are prompted to sort the content by most popular, most recent, and most viewed. However, there are no porn videos in sight. What you get here are short reviews for the best lesbian sites, hentai, cam sites, and the best porn search engines. The reviews are far less detailed than what you have become accustomed to with The Porn Dude. If you click on any of the options, you will find a short description of the genre and a list of the sites likely to offer you the best erotic experience. In the lesbian category, for instance, OVGuide lists Girls Way, When Girls Play, Sweetheart Video, We Live Together and MommysGirl as the leading sites. They then proceed to give you a short description of the sites.

The description for Sweetheart Video reads: ‘Sweetheart Video encompasses the best of lesbian erotica and lesbian porn with the hottest porn stars. Being a premium, paying a few dollars lets you get premium features like access to four network sites, downloading in full 1080p HD resolutions and downloading, thousands of high-resolution zip file picture sets unlimited DRM downloading and many more!’ Some might say that it’s a short and concise review, but it clearly lacks in details and users who rely on them to discover locations to get their porn will practically be going in blindfolded.

There is no much luck in other categories either. In the adult video searches category, the site lists a handful of sites which includes Porn MD, NudeVista, Porndex, Ro89 and Tube Galore. The descriptions are concise here as well. For instance, PornMD’s description is shorter than the break-up message you sent your ex. What I love about the site

The lack of comprehensive porn aside, the site has made the extra effort to provide users with a fantastic design. Many sites don’t make an effort to make their site attractive and user-friendly, but OVGuide doesn’t fall in that category. Additionally, the navigation is a breeze and none of the sections I visited proved problematic. All the categories are immaculately arranged, and even a five-year-old will be able to pick content with ease. The site also has a premium feel about it, and I didn’t encounter any annoying ads during my stay here. The site could also a make a case for content diversity although the lack of enough porn is an obvious letdown.

What I hate about the site

As I say countless times, hate would probably be too strong a word for inconveniences that might not be considered major, but there are reasons to be disappointed. The site may cover different categories and genres in regards to online videos, but the distinct lack of porn content is certainly a massive disappointment.
