I’m still not sure what the R in RJAV stands for, but I have come up with some possibilities. It could be shorthand for Risqué, as their Japanese Adult Videos tend to be pretty naughty. Honestly, the tagging could be a little better, which would make them all available in one aisle, but they haven’t broken the catalog up so bad as to be unwieldy. You’ll just have to find it in sections with labels like JAV Uncensored, FC2-PPV, Mosaic Removed and Asian Amateurs.

Decensored JAV has become common enough that the weeaboos are well aware of it, but casual fans of the genre might not have encountered much. Basically, they use a computer to rebuild the genitals where they should be. The effect ain’t perfect, but it’s been getting better. I’m not sure if there’s overlap between categories, but I do know that some of the numbers are actually a lot higher than what’s listed. You know what I didn’t find, though? Upload dates. Truth be told, I was still a little stuck about where to start, so I went back to the front page and clicked the Hot Videos button.
