The twins are pretty much like modern-day hipsters, as all they do is sit around in their apartment watching and discussing old movies.

Then when a young American student named Matthew befriends them, he becomes immersed in their altsy, hipster-esque world of cinephilia, and eventually, he starts to, for lack of a better term, have a lot of sex with Eva Green’s character. And shockingly enough, Eva Green’s character also has sex with her twin brother as well, while simultaneously fucking the young American student who befriended them. The movie’s taboo as hell, but like many weird indie movies, it’s deep, and explores themes of sexual awakening, intellectualism, political turmoil, and so on. Green, who was only 21 at the time, has tons of nude sex scenes in Dreamers, and she quickly gained fame and notoriety as a young up-and-coming actress as a result of the movie.
