It’s a strange world that we live in, and I’ve often found that trends in porn reflect this. Naturally, people’s taste in porn and sex, in general, fluctuates all of the time. Now I’ve covered trends in the adult industry before, but 2020 seems to be unusually strange. For a while, I have sensed this, but only recently have I put the work into looking up the sorts of sexual appetites that have emerged in the past few months. So, after poking around the net, I’ve found some fascinating trends.

Italian women are highly appreciated these days
I’m sure you know that I love women of all types but do sometimes go through certain phases. Apparently, I’m not the only one if you look at certain search trends for women of particular ages, body types, and ethnicities.
Some of them, such as MILF and mature, seem to be steadily climbing and have even spawned their own specialty websites. If you don’t believe me, I have extensively documented that particular niche here, among other places in my glorious digital empire.
Others seem to have always been popular but have seen exceptional ebbs this year. For example, if sources like PornHub seems to have been a spike in searches for Italian pornstars late this year.

Video games old and new are trending quite a bite
Italians real and fictitious have been making headlines in several circles. When it comes to a beloved digital character and friends Super Mario and the larger Nintendo franchise has seen a spike in popularity this year.
This seems to be due to the fact that the franchise’s thirty-fifth anniversary landed this year. And when something’s popular, people look it up when it comes to porn parodies. But that’s not the only video game franchise that has picked up steam in the world of porn.
Through this year and the two prior, Fortnite has seen a rise in porn searches, and also sex spoofs have been popular. With the release of the Final Fantasy VII reboot, there has been a fair number of naughty fan-made images of Tifa Lockhart and Aerith Gainsborough.
Most recently, Among Us has seen a spike in popularity for some reason. It’s a bit strange considering this game came out a couple of years ago, but it may be due to the fact that this franchise blew up recently thanks to growing popularity on Twitch.
TikTok seems to be influencing the creation of adult content as well
For those of you who are of a certain age, you may only know about the TikTok app as that thing that Zoomers post weird dances to. And while it is true that younger folks seem to be as obsessed with this application like Millennials were when MySpace came out – anyone else remember them days (?) – it’s been influencing adult entertainment, too.
It would appear that a lot of the trends on TikTok are going to influence the sort of smut people to upload to the major tube sites. Disturbingly, some of this content includes copypasta, which involves m*nors in some cases. So, before ya’ll come after me, I’m not encouraging that, just reporting on it.
Miley Cyrus and other celebrities are at it again
Remember when Miley Cyrus literally and figuratively rode in a wrecking ball back in 2013 or so? I, for one, do, but if you need a refresher, the former Disney acting princess starting wilding out about a half-decade ago.
Between some racy music videos and twerking all over Robin Thicke (oh, the irony of that last name in that context), people thought the woman had lost her mind. And the outrage was not limited to any one part of the political spectrum either. Canadian anarchist bemoaned Cyrus’ behavior, editor at Variety magazine Shirley Halperin was condemnatory, and American conservative commentator Glenn Beck went ape shit over these events.
(Side note: I thought that Miley didn’t look half bad myself both at the VMA’s and in her wrecking ball video. Both kind of gave me cerulean stones, to be honest.)
Supposedly, Miley is a bit tamer now and seemed to have been drifting toward the conservative innocent gal persona which made her famous. Well, at least she seemed to be for a few years.
Moving on, Cyrus was interviewed this year and discussed her personal life during the late summer of this year on the, get this, Call Her Daddy podcast – and yes, that’s really what it was called. Topics included her own sexuality, previous relationships, and similar points of conversation.
For those unaware, Cyrus identifies as pansexual, queer, and claims to be gender-fluid as well. I suppose these revelations, combined with her stellar looks, shouldn’t surprise anyone that after that interview, searches for her name on smut search engines suddenly spiked around that same time?
Sadly no, there aren’t any Miley Cyrus sex tapes or (deliberately) leaked nudes floating around out there.
(Believe me, I’ve checked.)
However, there are all sorts of celebs making headlines which have been coming out with some (semi)explicit cummy content. For instance, Cardi B lyrically unleashed her wet ass pussy in the form of her (in)famous WAP music video.
It seems rather appropriate considering that Cardi has started to tease us with delicious uploads to everyone’s new favorite porn subscription-based site OnlyFans.
Speaking of OnlyFans, it looks like many celebrities are posting media ranging from tame but titillating to explicit, including Bella Thorne, Blac Chyna, and Jordyn Woods. So, if you have a taste for seeing famous non-fap film stars, then that’s another reason to be on OnlyFans.
Alternatively, you can look at these lovely deep fakes “featuring” the hottest gals in the mainstream entertainment.
OnlyFans is (still) revolutionizing adult entertainment more than you think
I’ve been fascinated by what’s going on when it comes to OnlyFans. After all, what could be better than watching the porn version of Netflix?
A few short years ago, the whole thing seemed to have been a strange social experiment. But ever since the coronavirus lockdowns, this site has been getting an ever grander following. Current circumstances aside, another reason OF has been so successful is due to the fact that uploaders are increasingly conscientious of and responsive to customer requests.
Doing this has led to so much traffic for the site and new creators, OF actually had to cap their referral bonus.
As I said, I have been trying to keep up with all of the news about OnlyFans and have found some fascinating developments on that site, which I know you’ll like to hear about.
