As soon as you go to My Free Cams, aka MFC Cams, before being able to see any of the 18+ girls that are currently online (or anything whatsoever), you’ll be asked to verify that you are over 18. Not that you have to actually provide any evidence of that claim. All it takes is clicking either “I am over 18, continue” or “leave.”

Once you click “continue,” you will be overtaken by hundreds upon hundreds of the hottest 18+ cam girls on the web. The number of live girls on My Free Cams is staggering. There were 1,700 active webcams when I visited. That is, by far, the most online girls I’ve ever seen on a cam site at one time. At first glance, My Free Cams is a lush paradise of sexy women ready to please.

Holy Fucking Shit...

Before anything else, I have to comment on how consistently hot these girls are. And I don’t just mean “hot” as in, ‘yeah, she’s cute, I’d probably fuck her,’ like the case tends to be with cam girls; I mean “hot” like, ‘holy shit, that’s one of the hottest chicks I’ve ever seen in my life!’ Sure, there are bound to be a few duds here and there. Still, the ratio of hot chicks to alright-looking chicks is seriously fucking remarkable.

One other notable quality of the girls on My Free Cams is that many of them are American. This is rare for a cam site, believe it or not. Most similar websites I’ve been on, like StripChat, have a majority of South American or Eastern European chicks, with one or two American girls thrown in the mix.

Hey, don’t get me wrong. I love watching Euro babes or sexy mamacitas take their clothes off and make themselves cum as much as the next guy; I’m not complaining about them in the slightest. It’s just that, being American myself, it’s always nice to have the possibility of stumbling upon a girl you know or could potentially cross paths with in real life. And the odds of that happening are much higher on My Free Cams than on most other cam sites I’ve seen.

Is There Such a Thing as Too Many Girls?

The only downside to there being so many girls to choose from is, paradoxically, that there are so many girls to choose from. Almost too many (if that’s even possible). The only reason I cite this as a potential problem is that it becomes difficult to figure out which girls are going to be showing anything good without you having to reach for your wallet. So, because of this, you might end up spending too much time clicking through a bunch of girls before you find one that is actually putting on a show for free.

This, however, could easily be remedied if My Free Cams adopted the sort of preview feature that other cam sites have, where you can hover your mouse over a girl, and it will show you a small clip from what’s been broadcasted by her recently. This is a very helpful feature for those of us who don’t want to break the bank with these cam girls. My Free Cams does not allow you to do this.

Also, surprisingly, you are unable to enter video chat rooms in a new tab. This makes it very difficult to switch back and forth from a girl you want to wait it out with and continuing to browse for a room with a little more action at the moment.

Customized Lists

One way that My Free Cams compensates for lacking such a feature, though, is by allowing you to conveniently skip through the list of models while staying in video chat mode. Just click the “skip” button, and the next model (according to your customized model list) will appear. That’s actually a pretty useful feature and one that I have not seen on any other cam site.

Speaking of your customizable list, My Free Cams actually allows you a great deal of control when it comes to the order in which models appear. In the “settings” section, you are able to organize the girls by how new they are to the site, region, popularity, who’s trending, suggestions based on other models you’ve liked, and more.

Okay, now that you’ve customized your models list exactly to your liking, let’s enter the first room and get chatting! Wait a minute — false alarm. In order to chat with the girls, you’ll have to create an account and log-in.

Creating an Account

Most of these camming websites don't really ask you to create an account, and many don't charge you any money for your account. That won’t fly on My Free Cams. Most of the girls have “guests” muted in chat, so you’ll actually need to register in order to start having any real fun.

When you try to post something in the chat, you will be redirected to the account creation page, and you will soon notice that it costs absolutely nothing to create an account (hence the name). For starters, you will need a username, an e-mail, and a password. Once you get all of those things sorted out, you will have to confirm that you have read the terms and the conditions, and the privacy policy as well. Then you'll admit, once again, that you are at least 18. Once you’ve done that, you’ll receive an activation link email. Just click the link, and you’re good to go. Finally, you’re ready to start chatting with some of the most beautiful girls in the world.

Okay, now you’re in. Only one more problem: you’re a cheap-ass, so you didn’t buy any tokens. Well, good luck. These girls—being the topnotch, supermodel quality girls that they are—do not fuck around. Most of them are not going to do much for you unless you’re putting up some cash. A lot of the girls, as a matter of fact, have premade menus listing everything they are willing to do, and how many tokens each act will cost you.

Don’t be a cheap asshole. Buy some tokens if you can. These girls are trying to make a living, after all. And rewarding them means you’ll be generously rewarded back. As far as My Free Cams’ chat feature is concerned, it’s probably one of the better chat modes I’ve come across in the world of adult camming. Although I am yet to find a seamless full-screen chat mode on a site like this, on My Free Cams, you can at least enlarge the video screen a sizable amount while still being able to type and read messages. There’s nothing more annoying than having to click back and forth between expanding to full-screen and minimizing to chat. I am pleased to see that I can at least make the video a decent size without losing the ability to text.

Speaking of interactivity, most of the girls have their Lovense Lush in their twats and ready to go just like on Chaturbate. For those of you who may be unfamiliar with this popular Bluetooth sex toy, they are vibrators that are curved upward to hit the girl’s g-spot and are remotely controllable through a Bluetooth connection. Great Butt / Great, But…

The only missed opportunity here is that My Free Cams could have increased the level of interactivity. This doesn’t seem to be the case here—more just the more you tip, the longer and more intense the vibration. Definitely a cool feature, but I think it could be doing a little bit more.

My only other real complaint with MyFreeCams (mobile) is that, even though there are thousands of models online at any given time, the popular rooms are still too oversaturated with other dudes. This makes it really hard to develop any sense of rapport with your girl (outside of going private of course).

All in all, My Free Cams (often misspelled as "myfreecam", "myfreewebcams" and "my free cam") has some of the hottest girls I’ve ever seen on a cam site—and tons of them. Some of the features of the site could use small tweaks, sure, but no site is going to be perfect. If you’re looking to interact with some of the hottest girls in the world (and don’t mind coming out of your wallet a little bit to do so), My Free Cams might be the perfect site for you.
