With an easy couple million visits per month, the site is one of the most popular archives of its kind. I’m a sucker for anything that makes my dick hard, especially if it’s free and interactive, so naturally I needed a peek for myself.

A Lot Filthier Than It Looks

At a glance, RyuuGames appears downright wholesome. Part of that is probably the ultra-clean blog-style presentation. They’ve got a slick logo that doesn’t hint at the perversion within, and all those smiling anime girl thumbnails are plastered on a sparkly white layout that wouldn’t look out of place on a totally asexual archive of anime pics.

Look a little bit closer at those bright colors and pretty faces, and the perverted possibilities start becoming clear. Most of the front-page imagery is pretty clean, with 18+ schoolgirls flashing peace signs, cute witches casting hexes and kawaii princesses making ahegao faces. Then again, that pink-haired girl with the bunny ears is sucking an uncensored hentai cock, and there are a couple lesbians pushing their titties together.

The titles of the Ryuu Games themselves often hint at kinkier scenarios than you’d expect from the cutesy thumbnail images. The witches I mentioned don’t look all that perverted, but they’re in a game called SEX x HEX. Recent uploads like Cage Of Tentacles, Horny Bunny Hana, SlaveBar // Futanari Birthday, Real Eroge Situation and Reverse Rape Reincarnation also sound a little too filthy for primetime.

Honestly, though, given the absolutely massive range of RyuuGames available, I do wish the tags list was longer. The limited number of tags on RyuuGames would be less of an issue on a smaller site, but they’ve been building this collection of visual novels for years now. RyuuGames.com doesn’t actually host any of the visual novels themselves, which means you’ll have to download them from file locker services like MediaFire, Mega or OneDrive. It's convenient enough, but you’re going to face a few bottlenecks along the way. If you don’t have a premium filehost account, you’ll be waiting for throttled downloads and daily limits, as well as some ads while you’re at it.

For most casual adult gamers, the wait times aren’t going to be a big deal, especially if you don’t play many visual novels. Enthusiasts of the genre may find themselves a bit frustrated and blue-balled, though, in which case you may want to spring for a RyuuGames Premium membership.

Premium accounts are five bucks a month, which ain’t shit compared to the average thirty-dollar paysite—my own PornDudeCasting included. The main perk is faster downloads via Discord or Google Drive, but they also throw in some extra bonuses like faster releases and the privilege of putting in requests. Premium memberships also strip away the spam, but to be honest, I didn’t see any spam with my adblocker running.
