Did you know that there is porn on YouTube? No, really, there truly is, I promise you all. Well, at least sort of – it’s instead a complicated topic, even for my blog. Now I’m sure you’re questioning how that can be considering the terms of service that YouTube has. And that is why I kind of hedged at the beginning. Roblox is simultaneously a sort of video game that has evolved in a sideways direction, sort of like how Chatroulette did, but not in the way that you (probably) think.
Keep in mind; this is going to be a weird one – even weirder than the blogs that I’ve done in the past.
Yes, that’s right, this one is going to be stranger than my documentation of all of the sex stuff that was going on in America late last year. Get ready for a post more out of left field than my explanation of the real facts surrounding semen retention and #NoFap. And if you enjoyed my article on hilarious government coronavirus sex guidelines, then you might find parts of this to be amusing in a twisted way.

Before I can explain the porn, I have to explain the “game”
On its face, Roblox looks perfectly innocent enough. After all, what could be so weird about a game creation system that often features cartoonish humanoid characters that allow players to chat with each other so long as they adhere to strict community guidelines?
Well, the devil is in the details.
To give you more info on what Roblox is about, it’s an open platform that allows players to create their own video games however they wish and share them with other people online. It is easy to pick and start programming – so simple, that most of the users are minors.
There is an in-network currency within the Roblox network, customizable humanoid avatars, plus bonuses that premium members can use and sell. Further, there are a fine number of other neat features that administrators can dole out more goodies, such as virtual accessories. On top of that, there are individuals who enhance the community by creating new in-game items full-time.
This genre of “erotica” has a strange ass past
At first, this was a minor game since it came out in a flooded market in 2006. Over the years, it began to pick up a following that exploded during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. In fact, these days, there are something like twenty million games being pumped out on the net a year.
Then some people started to exploit this game in some unusual and controversial ways. For one, the Roblox network had stringent communication filters given the wide range of users it had. Initially, there were types of messages and words which would be automatically removed from chats.
Nonetheless, there were users who figured out how to maneuver around these restrictions. This led to Roblox staff hiring 1,600 to monitor communications on the network – but it didn’t end there.
Using the avatar social features, users began to set up nightclubs and sex parties. However, users got around potential restrictions by hosting these virtual events on third-party servers. Further, some of these were also held on the main network. There have been attempts made to remove these, but Roblox folks have compared such an activity to a game of “whack-a-mole.”
Then came the backlash
You might think that a program popular with children where some users are engaged in blocky sex “parties” parents would be concerned. And they sure as hell did, as did elements of the news media. Kinky as I am, I can’t say that I blame them.
After all, I wouldn’t want to be associated with virtual sex parties that happen on the same app that users play on in different virtual rooms. Besides, I think the look of Roblox is weird as hell to me.
Then there were some sick fuckers who took things to a whole different level. In an apparent attempt to be a cyber version of Chester the Molester, some uses did the digital dirty with the avatar owned by a m*nor aged user.
North Carolinian parent of the user, Amber Petersen, posted the following to Facebook…
“My sweet and innocent daughter’s avatar was being violently gang-raped on a playground by two males.”
“Thankfully, I was able to take screenshots of what I was witnessing, so people will realize just how horrific this experience was.”
“Parents/Caregivers…not only do I urge you to DELETE THIS APP; I hope you will take another look at all of your devices and their security settings.”
Does anyone else feel dirty (in the figurative sense), or is that just me?
And now it’s all over YouTube
Given how bizarre and crude (in the aesthetic sense) this game’s graphics are, it looks like there is a hell of a lot of this recorded “entertainment” on YouTube. Given the graphics, that’s my guess as to why this apparently hasn’t been pulled from everyone’s favorite (non-pornographic) tube en mass, unlike a video with five-second of copyrighted music.
Sure there was a YouTube spokesperson who said…
“YouTube’s Community Guidelines clearly state that sexually explicit content is not allowed on our site.”
“We remove flagged videos and channels that violate our policies, and in some cases, we age restrict material that, while not in violation of those guidelines, contains images that may be unsuitable for younger users.”
…a while back.
But if you search ‘Roblox porn’ on YouTube, you’ll find hundreds of hits. Indeed, there are not only recordings of ‘sex’ sessions but advice on how to find adult-themed casinos, advice on getting involved with others, and learn about other aspects of this community.
