XArt! I’ve been whacking off to X-art for years now, and it still makes me feel like such a distinguished gentleman. I’m the kind of guy who would argue that nearly all pornography classifies as art, but these guys have a unique vibe that manages to incorporate the aesthetics of fashion photography, classic nudie mags and modern hardcore sex films. I’ve written about the site before, but it's been a few years, so let’s dip back inside and see what’s new.
Not Your Mama’s Erotica Site
I know I’m not the only one who feels a certain sense of nostalgia as soon as I hit the X Art tour page. Even if this is your first time taking a peek, there’s something familiar about the artful way they depict all the hardcore fucking and sucking. Depending on your age, it might remind you of browsing the top rack of the truck stop magazine stand, the saloon-doored back room at the local VHS rental shop, or the early days of internet porno.
In the past, I’d occasionally gotten X-Art mixed up with MetArt, another respected and long-standing erotica brand. While both companies are putting out classy, high-end photo and video content, X-Art.com is much fucking filthier. Arty or not, this is hardcore content featuring a wide range of perversion. Even before I’d made it off the front page, I had glimpses of lesbians eating each other out, first-time anal loving, BDSM power plays, and plenty of kinky group sex.
I do wish the complimentary glimpses were a little longer, though. Aside from the silent video montages of a few recent features at the top of the front page, there ain’t much in the way of previews; all the “Play” buttons brought me straight to the signup page, a common bait-and-switch in this business. You can, however, flick through a seemingly endless list of films and galleries, each with titillating DVD-style cover art and a few thumbnails to whet your whistle.
You can also get a peek at their roster of models. One of the things I’ve always loved about the site is how they work with gorgeous fashion models, nude photo starlets and legit amateurs. There aren’t many familiar faces unless you’re a regular at X Art, and many of these chicks appear here and here alone. They’re all beautiful, though it’s mostly slim Euro chicks. If you’re mainly into thick mamas, Latinas and Asians, this might not be the spot for you.
A Library of Smut for the Ages
I’m writing this review during X-Art.com’s extended Cyber Monday deal, and they’re currently offering subscriptions for a few bucks less than your average paysite. It’s $25 a month as I type this up, though the regular rate is supposed to be double that. You get discounts on longer plans, and there’s even a lifetime subscription for a buck under six hundo.
They don’t tell you up front how big the collection is, which is weird because I think the sheer size of the stash is one of the selling points. There are around 1100 videos in the library right now, a figure that’s sure to grow by the time you read this. I’d say the average length is about 20 minutes, a bit shorter than most premium porn but not the skimpy cock-teases you sometimes get with the arty-farty adult brands.
I usually don’t bother to mention the photo galleries on paysites, because they’re usually just auto-generated screengrabs from the movies. X Art started as a photo site, though, and they’re still putting out some of the best nudie pics in the business. If you miss the classic skin rag format, you’re going to love this. There are around 1200 high-quality galleries as of this writing, another number that’s going to rise fast.
The focus has shifted over the years from photos to videos, so most of the updates are movies. As much as I love the nudes, I get it, as most modern masturbators have just gotten used to shaking their dicks at moving pictures. They drop a new gallery every month or two, and they’re adding fresh videos every few days. The industry standard for premium porn is still just one release per week, so this just adds to that killer bang for your buck.
Downloads are included with the X Art membership, bumping that value up even more. Given the size and scope of the collection, the wankers on a tight budget can sign up for a month, save a whole-ass collection to their hard drive, and stay happy and fapping for a good, long while. The next time you can afford a subscription, there will be plenty of new stuff to restock your cabinet with.
Putting the Artistry in Art-X
Speaking as a fan of classic porn photography, I was happy to see a new gallery had been dropped just a few days before writing this review. Nineteen-year-old Novella is a noob to the site and presumably to the whole industry, and man, she looks absolutely fantastic. The gamer girl’s wearing nothing but headphones as she toys with her laptop in the preview thumb, and the 43 photos in the set riff on that theme.
The poses are sexy, the lighting and framing are impeccable, and the photographer sure ain’t shying away from close-ups of Novella’s hairless holes. It’s a different aesthetic from what you get with even the more polished amateur content at OnlyFans, and you get the sense that whoever’s behind the camera has been doing this for a while. The imagery at X Art can certainly be classified as art, and frankly, so can the beautiful bodies being showcased so magnificently.
I’m hoping to see Novella in some video content at some point down the line, but for now, I checked out a fuck flick released just a couple days before Novella’s debut. You can probably guess the theme from the title, Threesome of Our Dreams, and yeah, the dude is living one of my own dreams with a couple absolutely stunning blondes.
The 19-minute film opens with the two babes making out as the dude watches from a big, plush chair, jerking his dick through his pajamas much like I did as the intensity ramped up. Forgive me for gushing a little bit, but I’ve been a big fan of X-Art.com for a long time now, and if you ask me, they’ve aged like the finest of wines. I feel like they’re keeping up with modern trends, like the arms race in depravity and the 21st-century preference for video over photos, while still maintaining that classic eye for details both pornographic and artistic. If you want to feel like a sophisticated gentleman while cumming into a crusty old gym sock, you don’t want to miss this one.
