Rather than letting that real estate go to waste in the two sidebars and leaving a load of blank white space that isn't easy on the eye, I would suggest that, on the right, the site expands the list of content creators so that it runs all the way down the page. On the left, I would find some useful widgets to add to the sidebar that will assist people in navigating through the site better.
Conclusion
