A decade ago, I might have assumed Only Comix was just your typical SFW comic shop if I’d just heard the name. It’s kind of funny how regular, everyday language can take on X-rated undertones in certain circumstances, as OnlyFans has managed to do to the word “Only”. Well, my friends, that first impression proved right in some ways and wrong in others: the place is indeed stocked full of sequential art for adult eyes only, but unlike the fun at OnlyFans, you’re not going to need a bunch of subscriptions that add up faster than you’d expected.
OnlyComix.net is a free multi-lingual library of porn comics and hentai. They just opened their doors a few months back, though I wouldn’t have guessed based on the already staggering size of the stash. If you’re looking to jerk off to some high-quality artwork coupled with depraved plotlines, you might want to clear some time on your schedule and stock up on lube.
A Paradise of Porn Parodies
The overall presentation at Only Comix is fairly simple, though I wouldn’t call it ugly. Like a lot of hentai sites, they let the art speak for itself instead of wrapping it up in a flashy package. After all, what kind of sparkles could you really add to the web design that would be more eye catching than full-color depravity in every imaginable flavor?
Two things stood out to me from the very moment I arrived. For one thing, there’s a deep and freaky variety of perversion going on around here. Hentai is known for going harder than live-action porno, and that’s on display everywhere I look. There are furry cat girl encounters, groping ghost gals, BDSM elven fantasies, taboo stepfamily roleplaying with anthropomorphized animals and futanari fuck fests.
The other element that caught my attention was the wealth of parodies. The place is chock full of adult-oriented riffs on your favorite cartoons, comics, video games, movies and more. On the front page right now, I see sex comics based on Sonic the Hedgehog, Johnny Bravo, Ed Edd n Eddy, Five Nights at Freddies and American Dad. A sidebar menu offers quick access to popular parodies like Pokémon, Dragon Ball, Super Mario and Teen Titans.
Digging into the full Parodies index at OnlyComix, you start to get a feel for the massive scope of the library. They’ve got 85 comics based on Pokemon, 41 riffing on League of Legends, a couple dozen starring the characters of My Hero Academia, and even a growing stack of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic hentai. The list of recognizable properties goes on and on.
They also go one step further than most hentai sites by including a sprawling index of famous characters. Bulma’s in 15 hentai comics, Princess Peach is in a dozen, and Supergirl’s in a handful, too. No shit, the full Characters page is a picture menu with nearly a thousand famous faces, many of whom you’ve probably whacked off to before.
The parodies are tagged very well at OnlyComix.net, but I wish they did the same with the usual porno keywords like blowjobs, lesbians and BBWs. The search function pulled up a few hits for anything I tried typing in, but I couldn’t help but feel there’s content being lost in the shuffle. Looking at the individual comics, most only have a tag or two, which means they’re probably not tagging every sex act, fetish, and sexy outfit. On a similar note, a browsable index of tags or categories could be really helpful, too.
A Growing Catalog in Multiple Tongues
While Only Comix is missing a tags list, they do have a handful of other ways to dig into the pile. By default, they’re showing you the full-color comics, but you can access the black and white collections via a dropdown menu at the top of the page. Even in the B&W section, most of the covers are in color, and all of the art is fantastic. They’re not filling the shelves with half-baked bullshit, I’ll tell you that much.
You can also browse by language. This ain’t unusual anywhere on the internet these days, and most of the better adult comic websites include some multi-lingual functionality. OnlyComix.net actually takes a somewhat different approach than most, and I was impressed by just how many of the comics had been translated into other tongues. I like how you can just click a button at the top of a comic to instantly switch it to your preferred language.
There seems to be a more even mix of completed plotlines and ongoing storylines than you find on other adult comic sites, and yeah, that’s another criteria you can use to narrow down your selection. Sometimes I prefer the instant accessibility and feeling of completion I get from a one-off, but the ongoing stories let you revisit your favorite characters for more filthy fun.
I do wish they included some alternate ways of reshuffling the stack. It looks like they just put the new stuff on top, and I’d love to be able to sort by popularity, if only to see what everyone else is shaking their dicks at. I couldn’t find any upload dates listed anywhere, so it’s hard to say exactly how fast the archive is growing.
We can, however, make some guesses on that topic. OnlyComix.net is only a few months old, and they’ve already got around 1200 published titles. I’m assuming they had at least of them stockpiled before launching the site, but I think it’s also a safe bet that they’re regularly adding new content. Beating off to Only Comix, Nothing More
After getting the lay of the land and becoming increasingly hard and drippy, it was finally time for my official fap test of Only Comix. I decided to combine a couple of my interests both nerdy and perverted with a pornographic parody of Futurama called Fry’s Phone List. This one’s an ongoing story, and it’s currently up to 14 pages.
OnlyComix doesn’t have the most elaborate built-in comic book reader I’ve seen on one of these sites. It’s really more of a gallery-style view, the pages presented one after another on a long-scrolling page, but there are forward and back buttons at the bottom for flipping through the pages. The cover of this one alone is a fucking masterpiece, with show-accurate nudes of various female characters in Fry’s thought bubble.
Despite showing Leela’s tits and ass on the first page, the artist/writer has done a fantastic job capturing the vibe of the source material. As on the show, Bender’s a loveable asshole, Fry’s kind of a dork and Leela is an assertive and sexy cyclops. She leaves on a date, and then Fry fantasizes in explicit detail about smashing Amy in the supply closet.
The sci-fi tropes are hilarious and surprisingly fapworthy, again managing to capture the feel of the show with some of your long-held fantasies thrown in. Fry’s got a futuristic photo gallery like some of you might have of your Tinder matches, and we get some peeks at it before we see Zoidberg banging some chick’s dripping wet pussy right out in the street.
This is genuinely one of the best porn parody comics I’ve seen in a while, and I recommend a peek if you’re into Futurama. I don’t want to spoil the surprises, but Fry’s shenanigans pay off. I didn’t even realize there were animations at Only Comix until I saw him dressed as a doctor and slamming a big-titted blonde from behind. “That was awesome,” he says as he blows his load all over her ass.
There’s no one-click download button like they have on a lot of porn comic sites. It’s not a huge deal, though, as I’m sure the collectors in the audience already have their third-party downloader plugins ready for the harvest. Have at it, my dudes.
OnlyComix.net has an almost comically humble name. Sure, it’s merely a collection of stories told through art, but they’re the well-illustrated fantasies of some truly talented, truly depraved artists and perverts. They’ve taken a focus on parodies here that will appeal to anybody who’s ever rubbed one out to their favorite cartoons or video games, and it’s only going to get better as the catalog continues to grow. It’s free and I didn’t see any spam at all during my visit today, so what are you even still waiting for?
