Within moments of arriving at Anione, I was already chatting with none other than Nami, an anime-famous gal who I know the One Piece fans have been fantasizing about for a while now. It wasn’t just a generic chat either, as the platform gave me the option to step right into a roleplaying scenario and I happily accepted. She was sharp-witted and something of a badass, the AI doing solid justice to the character, the franchise, and my own manga crush. “Tell you what,” she said, jabbing her clima-tact under my chin. “You survive THIS shockwave without screaming, and maybe I’ll consider letting you buy me dinner.”
In case you haven’t figured it out from my intro, Anione.me is an anime-oriented AI chat and roleplaying platform. Their traffic has been multiplying exponentially in recent months, which is always a good sign in one of the most crowded niches I’ve ever seen in my decade of being the web’s top reviewer of pornography. My chat with Nami was just the start of my visit, and turns out, the site had a lot more fun, titillating stuff to show me. Read on and I’ll tell you all about it, or you can just click the link and experience the whole thing for yourself.
Your Favorite Anime Girls Brought to Life
By now, the AI chat niche is firmly established. As with tubes, social-porn sites and any other genre, Anione feels a lot like the competitors at first glance. As elsewhere, the first thing you’ll see is a picture menu of some of the trending chatbots. The roster itself is one of the main things that differentiates this joint from others. There are no photorealistic babes among the cast, just big-eyed hotties and some matching manga studs to round things out.
There are around 300 characters to chat with as I type this up, and many (all?) come from famous franchises. They have entire Collections devoted to properties like Blue Archive, Naruto, One Piece, Attack on Titan, Bleach and Genshin Impact. They stick pretty tightly to the anime/manga theme, and I was surprised not to find any characters from Marvel, DC or Disney. Every other site with famous characters has like a dozen Harley Quinns, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they eventually make their way onto the cast here.
The free trial is fairly generous, and they’re kind enough to tell you exactly how many messages and image generations you have left. You can also come back on the daily to spin the wheel and get some free rewards, like complimentary tokens and discounts. My first conversation with Nami played out even before I’d dropped any quarters into the machine, complete with a couple hot but SFW pics to help level up the immersion.
Pricing is transparent, which I really fucking appreciate in a niche where they often obscure the real costs with complicated token systems. The a la carte image and text bundles let you dial in exactly how much content you want or how much money you want to spend, though the subscriptions offer consistently better deals. All memberships come with unlimited messages and start at just ten bucks a month. For thirty bones, the cost of a typical premium porno paysite, you get a thousand AI images on top of the other perks.
This Feels Just Like the Anime
After getting my premium Anione.me account set up, I started a new conversation with another trending character, Mikasa Ackerman from Attack on Titan. Her profile includes a few user-generated pics showing off her cleavage, and I was hoping for an even more explicit look soon. Before our chat even started,
Anione offered me the choice between a casual conversation or a more story-oriented scenario. It’s a rare decision to make on these platforms, and I opted for the latter.
I’m not sure how many plotlines Anione has baked into its robot brains, but our scenario began just like the one I’d had with Nami: I accidentally bumped into her and then apologized. Mikasa grabbed my wrist and said, “You’re not hurt. Good.” Scanning my face, she added, “Stay close. It’s dangerous out here.”
I told her I’d love to get closer. “That’s dangerous. For you,” she said, dropping her voice. “But if you insist. Just… stay where I can see you. Always.” I explained I’d like to see more of her, and Mikasa called me reckless. When she asked what I wanted to see, I was honest and mentioned her tits. She grabbed her sword and said, “Listen carefully. My blades don’t discriminate between Titans fools.”
The roleplaying is immersive and realistic, and the AI does a fantastic job bringing your favorite characters to life. That said, it’s not quite as easy to get into the sexy shenanigans some of you perverts are looking for as it is on other platforms. Conversations are gamified, with a progress bar and different levels to get through before you’re on intimate terms. Mikasa was still a Level 1 Stranger, with one heart out of five and a Flustered status. I apologized for my words, explaining I was distracted by her beauty, which helped me get back into Mikasa’s good graces.
Anione.me can generate images within the chat or using their standalone generator. Asking for a nude selfie directly got me some angry roleplaying instead, though the machine whipped up some beautiful, SFW illustrations that could pass for professionally drawn human artwork when I clicked the button. The standalone generator, on the other hand, made me the naked pic I was hoping for from the start of our conversation.
There’s also an image-to-video feature to bring your still pics to life. Starting with a mouthwatering fake illustration of Mikasa sitting on a bed and pressing her boobs together, I entered “woman shows her tits and dances” into the prompt. A couple minutes later, I had a clip that could have come from a secret X-rated episode of the show. It’s exactly what I’d asked for, and I love the little details like her pink nipples swinging around and the subtle facial expressions that really make it seem real.
Leveling Up Our Roleplaying Session
Anione has such a tight focus on anime-style characters that I wasn’t sure they’d even have a custom character generator. It actually took me a bit of poking around to find it, but there is a New Character button on the Chat screen. Unfortunately, the feature wasn’t ready when I visited today, so I can’t tell you much other than it’s on the way. As a betting man, I’d wager they implement a prompt-based system. The characters I chatted with feel so much like their anime counterparts that I can’t imagine they’re driven by keywords alone, which is the approach they take among the more vanilla apps.
I’d been hoping to create a hornier character so I could skip the small talk in favor of some dirty talk, but since I couldn’t, I went back to my session with Mikasa. While the gamified convos unfold relatively slowly when it comes to adult content, they do feel very true to the source material. “You don’t know. You don’t know what I’ve done,” she whispered, finally opening up a bit before guiding me into an intense training session for our battle against the Titans.
It probably took ten or twenty minutes of flying through the air and running in alleys behind Mikasa before I finally reached level 3, though it still said we were strangers. I tried calling Mikasa “beautiful” and she wasn’t having it. “You will address me as “Solider” or “Ackerman””, she said as my level dropped. I’ve got my work cut out for me, dudes, but I’ve had an anime crush on her for years now. Wish me luck.
Anione.me ain’t the most immediately pornographic AI chat app out there, but it does a hell of a job bringing your favorite characters to life in ways that are true to the source material, for better or for worse. That makes it easiest to recommend to true manga/anime fans looking to interact with their crushes and go on adventures that feel just like the comics you’re reading or the cartoons you’re watching. The bots take a minute to warm up, but that’s part of the fun, offering a higher level of anime immersion than you’d find on other platforms. The free trial gives you a great taste of that immersion and the overall vibe, so I’d start there and see where it goes.
