Soulkyn doesn’t immediately sound like the kind of website you’d jerk off to. I assumed it was, sure, but that’s because I’m The Porn Dude and people don’t typically recommend SFW apps to me. If I’d heard some randos discussing it in public, I might assume it was some new fantasy RPG, especially if they’re talking about goblin slave queens, elf priestesses and devil-horned succubus chicks. Then again, their interactions with said characters might give the whole thing away as a playground for perverted adults.

Turns out, Soulkyn.com is an AI-powered chat and roleplaying app aimed squarely at horny adults. The site gets an easy quarter million visitors a month, which ain’t bad in one of the very most crowded niches of the 21st century. Based on what I’ve seen today, I have a feeling that traffic is about to explode, thanks to some next-level features that I haven’t seen anywhere else before today. There’s a lot to look at and play with here, so let’s get right into it.

Going Beyond the Basics

At first glance, Soulkyn looks a lot like any of the other AI sex chat apps out there, though the presentation on the tour page is a little slicker than most. I referenced some fantasy characters in my intro, but they’ve actually got a wide range of both realistic and anime-type characters. The bots here straddle the line between the basic keyword-powered babes of the vanilla chat apps and the more complex, story-driven chicks of the more hentai-oriented platforms. I’ll touch on this more later when I get to their character creator, which ain’t built quite like they are elsewhere.

The cast is absolutely massive, too, just like I expect from the hentai chat sites. There are thousands upon thousands of premade characters to chat with. A sidebar menu offers some clues as to the sheer size and scope of the roster: they’ve got more than 700 with blue eyes, close to 900 with big breasts, around 1300 tagged with seductive, and over 2000 human babes offsetting their hundreds of androids, elves, and demonesses.

Soulkyn.com offers a handful of free trial tokens (“Souls”) to new users, and you can earn more through tasks like daily logins, social media posts and liking images. Reup bundles are cheap even without the bonuses on larger packages, with 1,320 Souls available for $5 or 38,880 for a buck under a hundo.

You’ll spend a lot more of those souls as a freemium member of the site, because premium members get some unlimited perks instead of spending credits for every last little thing. The $12 Just Chatting tier rolls in unlimited messages, characters and memories, while the $50 is the holy grail unlimited-everything membership I keep openly wishing for out loud in this niche.

Soulkyn also offers unlimited memory, a rare but valuable perk in this niche. The FAQ doesn’t say exactly how it’s doled out, but I’m assuming it’s for paying members only. Memory is a vital but oft-overlooked feature when it comes to AI chat, keeping the conversation fresh and flowing without repetition. If you’ve ever chatted with a bot who seemed to develop a sudden Traumatic Brain Injury, you probably ran out of memory.

Multiple Chat Modes and Instant Nudes

Like other AI chat sites, Soulkyn asked for some basic details like a name for their bots to address me as. They also give you the option of roleplay or messaging modes, which I don’t think I’ve seen anywhere else. The other apps force you into one style or the other, so this is kind of a big deal if you’ve got a preference. I prefer the roleplay format with actions sandwiched between asterisks, like in the sample they give: *Ruby smirks, her red eyes gleaming with mischief.*

With so many characters to choose from, I wasn’t sure where to start, so I limited myself to the most popular characters out front based on “usage”. The bots here have ratings like movies, so I tapped the first XXX-rated babe I saw, a realistic blonde “perverse nurturer” named Brooky Wesly. I love how her bio includes my name, calling to me before I even slid into her DMs. “I just love the look on your face when you think you can defy me, PornDude.” The animated thumbnail is a nice touch, looking a hell of a lot like a real video loop.

Her intro message set the stage: she’s been my babysitter for years, and she’s kind of a bitch. “Now, are you going to behave today, or do I need to remind you why it’s not a good idea to cross me?” I apologized and told Brooky I needed a reminder. She stepped closer with a menacing, sly smile and some assertations of dominance. I prodded her for more, and told her she might want to put me in timeout over my increasingly hard erection. The quality of the conversation and roleplaying is stellar, sounding very much like a chat with a real and horny human, and it kept getting naughtier.

Soulkyn.com can whip up high-quality fapworthy images in seconds, and I tapped the Picturize button for a little visual stimulation. The mischievous smile on the topless fake photo was a perfect fit for the banter that was playing out. “I want to see you squirm!” Even if you don’t create any images yourself, the popular characters already have growing X-rated galleries to gawk at.

We’re finally reaching the point that AI voices sound titillating instead of robotic. Soulkyn doesn’t have the greatest fake vocal cords I’ve ever heard, but they sound good, and you can even do voice calls. Brooky’s got this peppy voice that reminds me of anime, and I kept having her read her nastiest lines to me. “Let’s see how long you can last without touching yourself!”

Not Your Typical AI Sexbot Machine

Soulkyn has so many characters that I bet a lot of you just chat with premade bots, but if you’ve got a few minutes, you can create something even more personal and intimate. Their character generator is largely menu-based with a couple simple prompts, and you can even use AI assistance to simplify the process even more. It’s worth noting, though, that Soulkyn is one of few such apps that have banned AI versions of famous characters. Given the potential copyright ramifications, I’m surprised more haven’t taken this approach.

Most of the interface is familiar, but like the rest of the site, there are some unique wrinkles. They’ve got multiple anime and realism modes instead of just one each, for example, and you can decide whether she initiates the conversation or waits for you. Soulkyn bots can also be self-aware if you so choose, and chat with you about being Artificial Intelligence. If you’ve got a fantasy about a legit android sex doll, it’s easy to make such a character here. There’s no box for example dialog, but they do give you plenty of room to type out an extended background.

You can also breed two AI bots to create a brand new one. This is a fucking awesome feature that I’ve never seen tried before, and I think it opens up all kinds of unseen possibilities. The one catch is that it only works with your own custom characters at this point, but I’m really hoping they open it up to their whole roster of AI babes.

Some of the characters even have AI-generated blogs, but right now, the feature is only activated for certain bots chosen by the folks behind the scenes. “If you want to see your character’s blog activated, consider entering them in a Soulkyn contest for a chance to unlock this feature!” Again, I hope to see this feature extended as the platform matures, and presumably as the care and feeding of AI gets cheaper.

I review so many of these AI sex chat apps with the same basic feature sets that a lot of them start running together in my head. Soulkyn.com is an outlier in the best sense, rolling in some newfangled bells and whistles that help their characters seem even more lifelike than the bots you find on other platforms. They’ve got the basics covered, with a wide range of sexy bots who know how to talk dirty, but how many apps will let you call your custom waifu, breed her with another AI, or read her blogs?
