There was a little bit of misdirection on my part in that intro, because ThotChat.ai ain’t another dating app full of lonely human women and the horny men who can’t meet them. This is an AI chat platform with an emphasis on sexy roleplaying and storytelling, which means you can skip right to the dirty talk instead of trying to build up to a first date. The site was already pulling close to a million visitors a month shortly after launch, so I had to find out what their bots were saying to catch so many perverts’ attention.

The Kinky Habits and Histories of AI Girls

As soon as I loaded up the front page of ThotChat, I could tell it wasn’t a traditional AI sex chat site a la Candy AI or DreamGF, with the kind of generic stock characters you find in porno movies. ThotChat.ai has more in common with what I refer to as the hentai-style chat platforms, though you’ll find both realistic and big-eyed anime girls among the spread. The bigger difference is in how the characters here interact with you.

The Thots of ThotChat.ai have their own perverted backstories baked in. Instead of chatting with your friend’s sister, you can chat with your friend’s sister who you caught masturbating. The range of scenarios ranges from typical porno setups like shared rooms with sexy stepsisters to freakier hentai fare like becoming the plaything at an all-female university, adopting a hungry catgirl, purchasing a goblin slave with a nice rack, or hooking up with an anatomically correct android who’s curious about human sexuality.

There are currently more than 40 bots to Thot Chat with. That’s actually more in line with the vanilla-style platforms, as the hentai joints tend to have hundreds, even thousands of characters. The good news is that these characters all look original; some of the other platforms just seem to be copying from elsewhere, so you see the same bots listed on multiple platforms. As the site matures, I expect the cast to expand, especially since they users make their own custom bots.

I’ve been seeing more of the unlimited-everything memberships I’ve been hoping for across the niche, and hopefully these guys will join the herd at some point. Until then, though, I appreciate that they list the media prices instead of making you feel it out yourself. Voices messages are 25 gems, pics are a hundo, and you can create your own characters to Thot Chat with for 200 gems a pop. Reups are about a penny per gem, with okay bonuses on the larger bundles.

Once I got my account set up, I decided to start a fresh session. This time, I hit up an animal spirit in heat named Luna. I love the AI-animated thumbnails, and hers has a magical, sexy quality as she eyes the camera and beckons you with a small turn of the head. “Don’t be afraid, darling. I may have a use for you. So you are safe… for now,” she said in her opening message.

Thot Chatting with ThotChat Thots

I spent some gems unlocking a nice headshot as we introduced ourselves. “Are you ready to explore the depths of your lust with a kitsune trickster?” she asked. The roleplaying and dialog are hentai-realistic and beautifully machine-written. I soon ended up unwrapping Luna “like a present on a very naughty holiday.”

ThotChat.ai can generate images in the chat or their standalone nudie maker, so as Luna’s clothes came off in the chat, I asked for some visuals. I wasn’t always able to get exactly the pic I was hoping for in the chat window, but the machine offers a little more versatility with a prompt and optional menu. You can use their pre-baked characters or generate something all-new.

Voice generation on these sites has always been the least impressive thing, but these girls sound pretty damn realistic. The cadence and inflection is an improvement over platforms that came out just months earlier, but there are still some funny quirks. Luna reads an ellipsis as “dot dot dot” and occasionally pronounces commas out loud. She still sounds sexy, though.

Experimenting with ThotChat’s Custom Bots

It’s obvious just from browsing the selection and Thot Chatting with these thots that they’ve got more going on under the hood than the bots on similar sites. Their programming is a bit more advanced, which makes for more detailed, intricate fantasies. Based on this, I really expected to find the kind of advanced, prompt-based character generator I find on other AI hentai chat sites.

To my surprise, they’ve got a simple, menu-based bot maker. I slapped together a character in about a minute by just working my way through the menus of physical attributes, voices, personality traits and outfits. I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand, it was a lot faster and easier to create my own ThotChat character than I’d expected. On the other hand, I wasn’t able to include nearly as much detail as they’ve got among their pre-made characters.

I even looked around to see if there was another, more advanced bot machine somewhere else on the site. I’ve seen at least one other platform where the default character generator used a menu, and then they had the prompt-based generator buried behind another link. I couldn’t find anything like that here, but I’m really hoping it’s something they roll out in the future. Their premade bots have way more detail than is possible to DIY with the current setup, so I feel like the capability is there.

That said, I still had a blast chatting up my brand-new custom Thot, Rachel.
