I knew as soon as I saw the AdultTime link that AT Roleplay wasn’t going to be the same old thing I’ve already reviewed dozens of times. The tour page has that familiar AdultTime aesthetic I recognize from their various sub-brands, only the girls are those android-dreamed hotties we’ve been seeing all over the web over the last year or so.

It looks nicer than your average AI roleplaying site, but it is missing one of the main perks I’ve grown to expect from the new platforms sprouting up left and right. Most of these joints offer some kind of free trial, whether that’s a mere few messages or a handful of daily tokens. If you want to chat with one of their sexbots, you’ll have to pump some quarters into the machine first.

The good news is that ATRoleplay is included with AdultTime premium memberships. Check out my review of the full website if you want a deeper look at what’s included, but there are a handful of really good reasons I’ve ranked them so highly around here. The streaming-only plan is cheaper than most paysites and way bigger, with over 60,000 videos and a fat handful of fresh movies released on the daily. After getting signed up and logged in, you’ll be shuffled along to the AdultTime.com member’s area. It’s mainly a video site, so they put the latest and greatest stuff right in front of your face as soon as you get inside. The AT Roleplay service is right on the other side of a sidebar link reading AI Roleplay, naturally.

They make you agree to a big, loud-ass responsible use policy before you can banter with their chatbots. This isn’t uncommon, but as a major adult brand, they make a much bigger deal out of it than elsewhere. Seriously, my fellow perverts, we need to play nice with all our new AI toys if we don’t want to get them taken away.

One of the big surprises to me was that Adult Time takes an approach to AI chatting similar to the more hentai-oriented platforms like GirlfriendGPT and PepHop AI, versus the more typical porno-movie fantasies of sites like Candy AI or FantasyGF. There’s a mix of realistic and anime characters, and they come bundled with their own sexy and oft-freaky scenarios. Compared to the basic personality-driven bots of the more vanilla platforms, these gals offer more possibilities for deeper explorations of your kinks.

As with other hentai-style AI chat sites, AdultTime Roleplay has a hell of a lot more characters to chat up than the “traditional” sex chat sites. They’ve already got 133 sexy chatbots and these are still the earliest days of the service. I expect that number to grow with time, though I think it’d grow faster if they included another feature that’s become standard elsewhere.

You can’t currently create your own characters, which is a mild bummer. Seeing as Adult Time is a huge brand with a reputation to protect, I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re holding off on custom bots until their lawyers can figure out how to fully protect the brand. There are huge cans of worms to open with regards to intellectual property and other concerns, so good luck with that.

Roleplaying with AdultTime Roleplay

I immediately wanted to chat up at least a dozen of the gals on the AdultTime Roleplay chatbot menu. The girl’s sleepover scenario sounded incredible, as did the one with a stepmom and a one-bed rental situation, and there’s a time-stop fantasy that appealed to the deep nerd in me. I’m whipping up this review on November 6, 2024, when the app’s MAGA Karen seems ripe for a humping, but I decided to slide into the less polarizing DMs of the aptly named Bimbo Mom.

The opening message is multiple paragraphs, setting the stage as I find my stepmom, Chelsea, doing yoga in the living room. She’s had some plastic surgery since dad left, and just look what she’s up to. “Oh honey, sorry for the mess,” she said. “I’m making some content for my social media accounts. It’s a new hobby.”

I told Chelsea she looked great, which made her blush and smile. “You always know just what to say to make me feel special.” She struck more poses, arching her back to emphasize her new and improved tatas. “Why don’t you take a closer look? I’d love your honest opinion.” I smacked her ass, and Chelsea invited me to “continue this private session” before leading me to the bedroom.

True to their brand image, it seems like AdultTime has trained their AT Roleplay bots to act like porno characters. Some platforms really make you work for it, often in a frustrating, unrealistic way. The interactions here are porn-realistic, playing out in a sexy way that would feel just right in a dirty movie. The dialog and exposition are snappy and well-written by machine, keeping you fully immersed in the scene.

There are a couple missing features, though. Most of the newer AI chat apps can generate pics right in the chat window as soon as you ask, but Chelsea just roleplayed the selfie snapping whenever I asked. “With a soft moan, Chelsea holds her phone above her chest, capturing her massive breasts in the frame. The screen fills with smooth, flawless skin and perky nipples straining against the thin fabric of her bra.” Hot, sure, but I wanted something I could actually look at.

I suspect there’s voice synthesis on the way, too, because they do have a microphone icon in the chat interface. Right now, though, all it does is turn your own voice into text messages to send your AT Roleplay partner. I’m not super disappointed, because AI voices still don’t sound great, but I do hope the feature is on the way. Bimbo Mom sounds like a real human when she’s typing, and a realistic voice would help boost the illusion even more.

ATRoleplay could hold its own as a standalone site charging twenty bucks a month for unlimited AI sexting, though the current lack of multimedia might be a dealbreaker for users who prefer some eye candy with their dirty talk. This ain’t a standalone site, though. For twenty bucks, you get the horny robots along with AdultTime’s increasingly massive stash of dirty movies. It’s kind of a no-brainer if you’re looking for a killer deal on premium porn along with some AI to keep you company. There are no AI freebies to be had here, but there is a cheap trial if you’re curious but not yet convinced.
