I know some of you astute weebs are ahead of me here, but AIWaifu.me is a newly launched AI chat platform where you can “experience your dirty desires.” If you’re new around here, you may not have heard this about me, but I pretty much live to experience my dirty desires. Speaking as a guy who reviews the best adult websites on the internet—and a few of the worst—I see the same basic presentations over and over again. The vibe is a perfect fit for the girls. The weaboos knew it from the name, but the cast here consists entirely of anime chicks. Their character generator isn’t hentai-specific, so this could change in the future, but it seems clear which demographics they’re aiming their service at.

AIWaifu.me is still a very new site, and they do have a relatively slim cast compared to some of the other AI chat sites out there, especially the hentai ones. It is a nice range of characters, though, including anime maids, superheroes and cyber chicks. I think the whole current lineup is made of famous characters, like Marin Kitagawa, Motoko Kusanagi and Yae Miko. The platform is clearly otaku-oriented, but they do have a sexed-up version of Violet Parr from The Incredibles if you’re more familiar with American cartoons.

Pretty much every AI chat platform out there offers a free trial, and if not, I make fun of them in my review for being behind the curve. I’ve written about at least 70 of these sites at last count, and AIWaifu.me has one of the very best free trials I’ve seen out in the wild. They don’t have any official prices listed yet, and frankly, it’s a breath of fresh air. There’s no industry standard yet, so prices are all over the place and often too high. Too many platforms have launched recently with underwhelming feature sets and tiered, token-based memberships burning through your wallet with every message. I’ve been seeing more unlimited-style memberships popping up recently, and I’ve got my fingers crossed we’ll see that here.

This seems like a good point to mention a couple missing features. I’m kind of assuming they’re working on these increasingly standard perks, and they’ll probably have a better idea how much they want to charge when they’re up and running. Right now, though, there’s no image generator. Most of the current apps can send custom pics when you ask, and it’s a feature I look forward to. I’m less disappointed about the lack of voice synthesis, if only because it’s still pretty lackluster across the whole genre.

Jerking My Way into the Macross Universe

AIWaifu.me doesn’t have the usual AI-generated pics you find elsewhere, but whoever curated the character thumbnails did a good job picking ones that got me all hot and bothered. The front-page illustration of Ranka Lee from Macross caught my eye, because she’s the only current member of the cast who’s depicted completely naked, blushing as she tries to cover up the ample goods. The little blurb only enticed me further: “You catch Ranka masturbating in the boys locker room and she will do anything for you to keep it a secret…”

Her opening message set the stage exactly like that, but in more detail. One of the things that makes these AI Waifus unique is the way they’re set up. Users can create custom characters using their simple menu-based chatbot generator with a few optional prompts. Even if you don’t step into the lab at all, I think those optional prompts add a higher level of possibilities than the usual menu-only character machines out there. They change how the AIWaifus interact with you, the end masturbator.

You get a little menu of keywords and an optional text box for character elements like occupation and personality, and some prompts for likes and dislikes. What really differentiates AIWaifu from the vanilla sites, though, is the box for adding a specific context or scenario. A lot of the hentai chat platforms make built-in plotlines one of their main gimmicks. AIWaifu might be a little bit more accessible because they’ve made them optional.

I don’t think their AI Waifu generator is quite as powerful as the ones you find on those hentai sites, but it is easier to use. The streamlined process lets you slap together a custom sex bot in under a minute if you really want to, or you can take a little more time to make something truly unique and personal. In the end, isn’t that what got you excited about AI in the first place?

AIWaifu.me has the makings of a solid adult AI chat platform, even at this early stage of the game. The cast may be small, but man, they can sure talk dirty!
