I tested out Braindance VR when the app first launched, and it already felt more futuristic than the first-person Virtual Reality porno movies we’ve been seeing for a few years now. If you want to know the truth, I expected to see a few copycats popping out of the woodwork right away, but they’re still the only company putting out this type of next-level 3D adult content. Perhaps it’s a testament to their technological wizards working behind the scenes, invoking powers the lesser geeks have yet to master. These guys set a high bar, and just a few months later, they’ve already raised it substantially.

BraindanceVR.com offers a new kind of immersive smut, letting you peek in on 3D porn scenes in augmented reality. Basically, they drop a pornstar right into your bedroom instead of the usual VR porn formula of dropping you right in a pornstar’s bedroom. The whole experience is at least a couple steps up from watching a VR striptease in passthrough mode, and as we’ll see, it just keeps getting better and better.

Beyond Your Typical VR Porno Movies

Alright, first things first. When I reviewed BraindanceVR last time, I had to sideload the app on my Meta Quest 3. Sideloading can be a frustrating experience for those who ain’t tech savvy, and even my nerdy ass was foiled by using the wrong USB-C cable. Installation is dead simple now, as you can just download the BDViewer direct from the Meta Store. You can still grab the apk file if you prefer, and there’s a msi for the true VR enthusiasts using PCVR.

There’s a nice free preview so you can see exactly how it all works without having to bust out your credit card. Noobs get 5 static and 5 dynamic scenes, a far more fapworthy demo than your average Meta Store download. Adult-oriented apps are rare and low-key, like DeoVR, but I do hope Meta one day integrates an easier way for us pervs to find the good stuff. One Braindance VR is worth more than a million variations of Gorilla Tag if you ask me, but I’m just an adult with money to spend, so what do I know?

This is a good point in the review for a couple little warnings. For one thing, BraindanceVR files are fucking massive, especially for the dynamic (moving) scenes. I’m not even a huge VR gamer, but I found myself deleting content from my 128 GB Quest to make room. Big files are nothing new in VR porn, and trust me, these guys are making damn good use of that space.

Some of the big VR porn sites are still charging a few bucks less than 2D paysites like my own PornDudeCasting, an incentive to get users to buy the hardware in the first place. BraindanceVR.com ain’t your typical VR porn site, though, and they don’t follow this tradition. It makes sense given what I assume are insane production costs, capturing 3D scenes with 165 cameras. They’ve got some deals if you buy a full “season” of content, but otherwise, their Memory Card scenes run about ten bucks a pop. It can get pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Braindance VR’s library currently consists of 15 different Memory Cards: 9 galleries of still 3D models, and another 6 of ones who shake their tits, fuck themselves and queef right in your face. Each Memory Card has around 10 to 20 different pics or vids to see on top of your bed, on your floor or even on your countertop. I’m not sure how often new Cards are released, but the stash isn’t growing quite as fast as your typical premium porn site. Again, it makes sense.

The catalog is relatively small, but they’ve still managed to roll in a nice range of depravity. For my first hit of BraindanceVR.com content today, I pulled up the most recent Memory Card in their static OG Collection. You can fap to these chicks in a black void, but I recommend using passthrough and putting them on your floor or bed. The ability to resize the presentation offers an unintended treat for those with a giantess or macrophile fetish, though I prefer more realistic proportions.

One of the major elements that elevates Braindance VR above typical VR porn is how you can move around the models. Keira appeared on my bed, laying on her stomach in some sexy fishnets, and she didn’t sway away weirdly as I got closer to look from different angles. The realism is insane, and they bump up the immersion with some fantastic dirty talk, driving a little scenario while giving you some sweet nothings and ASMR tingles. Amping Up the Realism with Moving 3D Pornstars

Even though the files are huge, I feel like they’re kind of a bottleneck. Future headsets with bigger storage will make for even more immersive 3D videos, but for now, you only get short loops of a few seconds each. The recorded audio is longer than the loops, so any dialog will only match the lips on the first run-through.

If you’ve ever farted around with the looping feature on the better video sites, watching your favorite moments over and over, the vibe will feel familiar. They’ve done a great job curating these little pornographic moments, so you’ve always got something great to feast your eyes on. If you’ve only got a dozen Memories on the Card, you don’t want any filler!

There were some minor glitches from time to time, but nothing that really got in the way of my Blade Runner masturbation session. Moving around a 3D model too fast sometimes resulted in some squiggles and pixels, so take it slow. I also had a little trouble getting the scenes to switch when I wanted. They seem to flip through automatically by default, jumping to the next after the audio plays, but they’ll start looping if you hit the Back button.

Having checked out Braindance VR’s newer offerings, I’m even more convinced that they’ve figured out the formula for next-generation Virtual Reality fap fodder. This is something I think we’ll see a lot more of as the technology continues to develop, but right now, BraindanceVR.com is the only place to get a peek at real 3D pornstars instead of the wobbly projections you get from other VR sites.
