Today I let my brain dance with Brain Dance VR, and I’m not sure I’ll ever be the same. The world of futuristic pornography sure as hell won’t be, that’s for sure. I saw things I’ve been dreaming about and waiting patiently for, and forgive me for getting ahead of myself, but it’s got me really excited about what’s to come. I’m writing this a few weeks before Black Friday, when I know those VR headsets are going to be flying off the shelves at a quicker pace than normal. There couldn’t be a better moment to introduce this dance to the world.

BraindanceVR.com (also known as Brain-Dance.ai) ain’t another VR porn video paysite like POVR, SexLikeReal, or really any of the other sites on my big list of VR Porn Sites here at ThePornDude. Their app drops photorealistic 3D models right into your bedroom using AR (Augmented Reality). The real magic of their system versus other adult VR content is that you can move around those virtual pornstars; they don’t bend away awkwardly if you try to get closer. I’m legitimately excited to tell you about this shit, so let’s get into it.

Getting Set Up for BraindanceVR

Alright, my dudes, I’ve got a little confession to make: I sat on this review a little longer than I should have. I kept bumping BraindanceVR down my list because I knew there was going to be a slight learning curve involved just to get the app up and running. Knowing what I know now, I wish I’d done it sooner. The process was quick and simple enough for most gamer types and probably even the smarter grandpas, too. The 3D babes are more than worth the effort, too.

Braindance VR runs natively on Meta Quest 3, or other headsets using PCVR mode. The Windows version might be easier to set up, but I’ve got a Quest, so I had to sideload the app. There’s a simple step-by-step tutorial on BraindanceVR.com to walk you through it, and it’s easier than other online tutorials because it ain’t aimed at total nerds. You’ll need to adjust some settings on both the mobile Quest app and the headset itself, and then plug that expensive sex helmet into your laptop for a minute.

The one tip I’m going to add is to make sure you’ve got a good USB-C cable. The last time I tried sideloading something, I gave up after an hour of frustration. This time, I got Brain Dance up and running in about ten minutes after swapping my cable a couple times. Just because your USB-C cable can charge a gadget doesn’t mean it'll work with SideQuest. Their website should really be louder about this fact, but again, those guys assume you live in mom’s basement and have a high Reddit Karma score.

Braindance VR by the Numbers

Brain-Dance.ai doesn’t sell 3D movies like the other guys. Their releases, which they call memories or memory cards, are like 3D photo galleries with a sexy voiceover guiding you from shot to shot. They refer to the visual element of the technology as “volumetric VR/AR experiences using gaussian splatting and neural radiance fields (NERFS)”, though I might just sum it all up by calling it pornstars in Mixed Reality.

In any case, they’ve released 8 different X-rated AR memory cards so far. There’s a nice variety of content, too. The first thing I watched featured a punk-rock OnlyFans chick shooting some content while you watch, talking nasty as she fucks herself with a dildo. There’s also a sexy yoga class, a lesbian BDSM encounter, and even a sci-fi tentacle scene. Memory cards run from around $8 to $13, though I’d love to see them roll out a monthly subscription plan at some point.

Braindance VR drops two or three new releases per month. I prefer a consistent release schedule, but I ain’t surprised these guys don’t have one. I’m not sure what all goes into producing these films, but I’m sure it’s a lot more than what I do over at PornDudeCasting. I’ve only got a couple cameras, but they’ve got 165 of them!

As the BraindanceVR.com catalog expands, I hope to see browsable menus of both porn categories and pornstars. They’re not working with super big-name talent just yet, but their whole lineup of video starlets is beautiful. The only one I recognized was Sia Siberia, a cosplay chick I follow on a couple different platforms. I couldn’t wait to see her up close and personal in AR.

Making My Brain Dance with Braindance VR

The Brain-Dance app puts a 3D model in front of your face, and if you feel like it, you can spin it around in a black void while you jerk off into the ether. If you want the maximum immersion, though, here’s what I do. First, set an oversize boundary around your bedroom, ignoring your Quest’s warnings about shit in the way. Load up a Braindance VR memory card, put the app in AR mode, then resize and reorient the model so it fits right on your bed.

I did this with the Back to School card, which put the lovely Solazola on the same mattress where I fuck real, live women. One unintended but very cool feature for fetishists is that you can adjust the size to wildly unrealistic proportions. If you’ve ever wanted to bring a giantess or a tiny little nymphette home, now may be your perfect chance. Is This the Future of VR Porn?

As with all the Brain-Dance.ai memory cards I sampled, Back to School gets harder and harder with every 3D photo. There are some visible pixels, and it’s kind of interesting how they disappear and reappear based on how close you are; it often looks better up close, like right between a gal’s thighs, than when you’re standing at the edge of your bed. I expect Brain Dance to clean that up a bit as they refine the platform, and I’m sure they’ll eventually find the limits of what Meta Quest 3 is capable of. The front page of Brain-Dance.ai hints at dynamic spatial content with actual videos, at which point I may never leave my house again.

If you can’t tell, I’m really fucking impressed, and this is still the earliest public iteration of their app. BraindanceVR.com has just changed the VR porn game, adding a legit AR element that feels realer than just watching a 3D movie in passthrough mode. This one’s a super easy recommendation to anybody with a virtual reality headset who’s looking for something different from what every other VR porn brand is offering.
