When I first heard of Kink.ai, I really thought they just lucked out and were able to grab up a valuable one-word dot-ai domain. As soon as it loaded up in my browser, though, I noticed something awfully familiar about that logo in the top corner of the screen. Honestly, though, I expect big numbers for any spinoff of such a successful brand, especially when they’ve landed a domain that could be internet gold on its own. The site does what you’re probably expecting already, using AI to simulate BDSM roleplay chats and bake custom fetish art, and I had to find out if it really was kinkier than every other AI site on the web. I’m kind of a cynical bastard, so the first thing I did when I saw the Kink.com logo was check to make sure they hadn’t just stolen the emblem. Sure enough, the app was indeed launched by the fetish porn pioneers, though the tour page ain’t all that different from your average AI adult playground. There’s a sexy, AI-generated succubus halfway down the page, but those winged demon women are common sights on any of the hentai-style chat apps.

What did catch my eye was the smoking-hot broad they’re using as a preview image for their image generator. I’ve been reviewing these sites every week for over a year now, watching the technology evolve and get more realistic by the day. A message warned me that it could take a couple minutes for my photo to develop on account of the heavy load, so I waited and waited.

And waited and waited. I have to assume it’s new-site growing pains, especially coming from such an established brand, but I wasn’t able to generate any free pics. The wavy little animation told me something was loading, but it never materialized on my screen. As I waited in vain, I made my way to the signup page to see what the premium features might cost me.

Kink.ai is currently asking $15 a month as the standard rate, which they’re calling the Early Adopter package. The name implies it’s a lower rate for new members with an impending price increase, but prices have been dropping across the niche, so we’ll see. The annual rate is a penny under a hundo, which is solid. In any case, memberships include unlimited everything, which I fucking love. It’s still common for these AI platforms to charge you for every last little thing.

The sign-in page also references Kink.com’s Kink Pass. It looks like the company might be planning on including Kink.ai with the video membership, which is a great incentive to sign up on either end.
