The site is Patreon-supported, meaning you can toss a few bucks in the hat every month to support the cause, though I know a lot of you cheapskates are going to see it in a slightly different light: this is a huge stash of manga/manhwa that you can actually read in your own language while you stroke your Pocky, and it ain’t going to cost you a thing.

Easier Fapping Than Your Local Comic Shop

If you’re a fan of adult manga, the first thing you’re probably going to notice about Omega Scans is that it looks a hell of a lot better than your average hentai site. I’ve reviewed a lot of porn comic sites that take the laziest fucking approach to presentation, just piling it all up like trash on the front page, with a lot of spam to make the whole thing even uglier. Whoever’s running OmegaScans, by contrast, has put some serious time and effort into the layout. The color scheme is sexy and the overall design is clean, which is a real feat given how much info they’ve jammed alongside the thumbnails of topless hentai broads. In less skilled hands, this would look cluttered as hell.

What Kind of Manhua Do You Crank It To?

OmegaScans.org categorizes Hyeonjung’s Residence with tags for Drama and Harem, but doesn’t get into deeper specifics about sex acts or fetishes. Poking around a bit, I found the tagging a bit lackluster. Most pieces only have a couple tags attached, like Fantasy, Special Ability, Action, Romance, and Adaptation. It’s a far cry from the massive indexes you find on hentai sites with thousands of tags delving deep into the perversion and fetishism.

That’s going to make the whole OmegaScans stash a little harder to search and harder to browse than it needs to be. I tried running a few searches for Feet, BDSM, Anal, Lesbians, Blowjobs and Schoolgirls. None of my queries turned up any results at all. I finally found a dropdown menu of Genres on the All Series page, but it’s only got a few dozen entries.

The weak tagging is really a bummer because Omega Scans offers a nice, wide variety of material. There’s taboo and sexual slavery, semi-wholesome romance and girl-on-girl action, humiliation and eroge deviancy. The problem is that if you don’t know which comics contain it, you’re going to have to do some digging to find it. They could improve the site’s overall masturbatory utility by adding more tags. It’s never too late to start!

The list of Genres they do have is interesting because a lot of them aren’t inherently dirty, like the Genres you’d find on most porn manhua sites. They’ve got Ecchi, Hypnosis, Slave and Smut, which is kinky, but those are listed alongside Genres like Revenge, Campsite, Sports and Omniverse. Maybe this is a reflection on what scanlation fans are really looking for, but as a professional masturbator, it ain’t what I look for.

Support the Sexiest of Scanlations

Omega Scans seems to keep a tight focus on material their team has translated and scanned personally. I say this because they’ve got a relatively small stash, especially compared to those hentai sites that fill their libraries by scanning the web for anything and everything related to adult manga. OmegaScans.org currently offers hundreds of chapters of dozens of translated series. It ain’t the biggest collection in the world, but it should keep your hands busy for a while.

It was apparent throughout my whole visit that the site exists for the fans, and it’s run by the same enthusiasts of the same material. They clearly give a fuck about the user experience, which can’t be said about most hentai sites. With my adblocker running, I didn’t even see any spam during my visit, which is a real rarity on any type of free porn site.

As I wrap up this review, I’ve pulled up the latest chapter of A Wonderful New World, an Office Harem Romance manhwa. They’re up to chapter 170 now, so I’ll probably have to go back and catch up at some point. The site doesn’t have the fancy baked-in manga reader you find on some of the other sites, but their Full Page and Single Page views are easy enough to navigate. The skinny panels in this particular comic look great on mobile, letting me flick through the story with my thumb while my other hand does something else. (Typing, I mean. What else could I possibly be doing?)

I’m not even shitting you when I say OmegaScans.org is the nicest hentai site I’ve reviewed in a while, and I see a lot of these sites. The presentation is sleek, modern and sexy, with easy navigation for easy masturbation. The tagging could use a little work, which would help picky perverts find their fetishes, but I doubt that’s going to be a dealbreaker for anyone. Most importantly, their growing library of scanlations offers up plenty of English-language manhwa to keep you all hard and drippy while you dry hump your waifu princess pillow.
