Which celebrities did porn before they became famous 1

Porn is still considered a taboo topic, and although it is watched by many, few are open to talk about it for fear of ridicule (c’mon guys, it’s fucking 2019). It is no surprise that porn stars do not receive the same amount of adoration and recognition as mainstream celebrities. More than a few people actually think porn is not a respectable profession. What you may not know is that the porn industry has been used by many celebrities as a stepping stone to the mainstream entertainment scene. You read that right. Adult entertainment has over the years given us some of our most beloved celebrities. And because I’m in a good mood today, how about a list of the celebrities who did porn before they became famous? Some of the names on the list may come as a shock. Read on to find out who makes the list.

Marilyn Monroe

Marilyn Monroe

Actress and Playboy personnel Marilyn Monroe was doing porn way before she starred on the red carpet.  Before her career took off, she did pose for a nude photographer and was actually paid a ridiculously low amount for that gig. After that, she did a few porn films which were kept secret for a few years. That was before she made a name for herself and gained global recognition as a sex symbol.

Jackie Chan

Jackie Chan

I know, it’s un-fucking-believable. Can you even picture this kung-fu guru as a porn star? Well, believe it or not, he is pretty much the only celebrity from Asia who made it big in the mainstream arena who has a porn history. He featured in a 1975 Hong Kong made adult comedy film called ‘All in the Family’. The then struggling actor saw porn as the easiest way to get some extra money, but he never did it again after his breakthrough in the 1978 film Snake in the Eagle’s Shadow. The rest well…

Sylvester Stallone

Sylvester Stallone

If you were not born last night, then you certainly recognize Sylvester Stallone, him of the Rambo fame. The action movie star starred in an adult film called The Party at Kitty and Stud’s back when he was still a struggling actor. However, the film was later re-released under the name The Italian Stallone once he found fame and success.

Sibel Kekilli

sibel Kekilli

You may recognize Sibel Kekilli from her role as Shae in the famous TV series Game of Throne. However, this German actress used to spread her legs as a professional fucker long before landing a role in GoT.  She was actually quite successful at it and won several prestigious awards. Her parents even stopped talking to her completely when they found out what she did for a living. She is now having plenty of success as a mainstream actress. Maybe her parents will start talking to her again?

Shu Qi

    Shu Qi

Shu Qi is another of the several celebrities to make a successful transition from porn to the mainstream.  You may know her from Transporter, a movie she co-starred with Jason Statham. But before her breakthrough, she used to be a sex goddess of many men’s (and women) wet dreams and has featured in numerous x-rated films. It’s not a history that she is entirely proud of, but the internet never forgets.

Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian

Well, she is not a porn star in its strict meaning, but everyone knows about her famous sex tape with singer Ray J which made her an instant hit.  The sex tape was leaked, and although Kim sued to stop its distribution, a settlement was reached, and the tape was released as a film: Kim Kardashian, Superstar. It paved the way for her hugely popular reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.’

Chyna

Chyna

The name “Joanie Laurer” brings back some good memories; back when all the girls were pretty and the WWE was still the WWF. You probably know her as Chyna or the two-time WWF Intercontinental Championship and one-time WWF Women’s Championship. Whichever name you know her by; she was a big fucking hit in the 1990s. However, she made her debut in adult entertainment by way of her sex tape- 1 Night in China. She went on to star in more adult films including Another Night in China, Backdoor to Chyna, and Chyna Is Queen of the Ring among others.

Stephen Geoffrey’s

Stephen Geoffrey

Stephen Geoffreys was a teen horror icon in the 1980s, starring in films like Heaven Help Us, Fraternity Vacation, and 976-EVIL. However, the mainstream industry is a hard nut to crack and when things were not working to plan, he switched to porn in the 1990s, starring in numerous porn classics that include Just 18 and Gay, Butt Blazer, and Guys Who Crave Big Cocks. He later did something everyone thought was impossible; returning to the mainstream industry in the 2000s.

Cameron Diaz

Cameron Diaz

There is barely any of it left, but Cameron Diaz used to do porn shoots before she became a Hollywood star. She did a legit soft-core smut video aged 19, even before her famous sex tape with Jason Segal. It is not a past she is particularly proud of and it is rumored that the holders of the tape demanded a cool $3.5 million to bury it.  However, her roles in Jim Carrey blockbuster The Mask, My Best Friend’s Wedding and finally Charlie’s Angels propelled her career to the mainstream from where she went on to feature in over 40 films.

Matt LeBlanc

Matt Leblanc

Matt LeBlanc was propelled to stardom by his role in the long-running, hit television series Friends where his finely tuned deadpan skills were rightly lauded.  But it was his role in Showtime’s erotic series The Red Shoe Diaries in 1992 that helped put him on the entertainment map, so to speak.  He was quite hunky in the soft-core porn film and his good-looking, ladies man persona was in show throughout. The rest is history.
