I have been a porn star for nine years, I started out as a webcam model before moving to Los Angeles to get into mainstream porn. When I first got in it was to pursue another career option after being a dancer, and I was starting to not like my job.
So, I wanted something that I could survive off of and enjoyed instead of working multiple jobs. This was not something I wanted to do to make ‘x’ amount of money and move on, I wanted a long-term career. I wanted something where I could express myself and feel free.
Please tell me this, was there anyone inside or outside of porn who inspired you growing up?
Seeing as I have a dancing background, my childhood heroes were Margot Fonteyn and Mikhail Baryshnikov because they pushed their limits, they pushed themselves, and showed that anything is possible. I also liked Bob Fosse as well for much the same reason. At the start of his career, he was trying to be a ballet dancer but no one turned out. He was actually pigeon-toed and he managed to start a whole series of dance that was centered on his flaw, or what people said was a flaw.
How did you come to pick your stage name?
Well, Lauren Phillips is my birth name, so that was given to me by my parents. If you’re talking about my social media, one of my handles LaurenFillsUp. I deiced it was cool because I like to get filled up, and it was a fun play on words.
What was your first scene like? Did it go like you thought it would or was your experience completely different?
My first shoot was great with Reality Kings. They chose a scene for me because they looked at me and asked if I could do a certain position, and I said yes. So, that’s pretty funny to me. Overall, it was just great. I didn’t feel scared because I already knew how to have sex. I was more excited and curious.
As I often ask lovely women like you, what is your favorite part of yourself?

I am bisexual, but there is no one kind of person that I go for. I would want someone who is kind, has a good head on their shoulders and can communicate. Most of the time, what I’m seeking in a person isn’t what makes them unique. Sometimes it’s their imperfections.

Everyone reacts differently. Yes, I think that society puts a stigma on us, but we also put a stigma on ourselves. So, I usually pick and choose the people who I want to know. And if I decide to go that extra mile and tell people what I do, and they say that it’s so easy or anything like that, it just depends. Like if I know they’re a religious person, I respect that and just tell them that I’m a model.
Like my mom doesn’t know I do anal scenes; she knows I do porn just not that. So, if there are certain things I wouldn’t tell my mom, how could I tell someone else?
How about any favorite foods?
I love Italian foods, like pasta and pizza I could eat that all day. I do like sushi, too.

Haha, wait hold on you actually think that I actually have free time. I just wake up at 3 or 4 AM for my good looks. Sarcasm! I did like to travel before the pandemic hit. I do enjoy some downtime. I like watching movies and reading and walking. My fitness time is my time. You won’t see many posts of me while working out because that is me-time to focus on my body and who I am as a person. I also like learning new things, I love adventures. I’m a normal Sagittarius.
What advice would you give newcomers to the business?
To be honest, I would tell them not to get into the business, especially with the pandemic. It makes it impossible to network, and so there are too many young women in the business nowadays. I also think they need to evaluate their lives and make sure that it’s not just about the money. It’s okay to do it for money, but it’s also a lifestyle and it can ruin your life if people find out.
