His government name is Maurice McKnight, but porn lovers know him as Moe the Monster. He has starred in many porn films for porn production company DF Productions Inc. Now the renowned pornstar is suing both the company and his former supervisor after a white female co-star called him ‘nigger’ twice without his consent during the filming of a porn video that appeared online.
The Bronx native claims to have been tricked into doing the racist hardcore XXX video even after he had expressed his objection to that kind of language.
According to the lawsuit, the incident took place in Tarzana, California on July 12, 2017, during the filming of the controversial video. Moe the Monster claims that the director, a certain James Camp, twice asked for his permission to use the despicable dialogue. It is alleged that the director approached the pornstar before the production began and informed him that the female co-star, Deborah Hinkle or as known in porn circles, Ryan Conner, had agreed to use the racial slur.
I told him, “No, I don’t like the word,” McKnight said. “I don’t care if she’s OK with it – I don’t like that word and I’m not down with it,” continued the pornstar who has worked in the industry for 9 years.
According to the 9-page complaint filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Moe says that he “made it very clear that he would not allow this racial slur to be used.” The director was not relenting and he approached him again during a production break and asked for his permission again, and once more the popular pornstar flatly refused.
Ryan Conner was standing next to the director both times he rejected the suggestion, so she must have heard everything. Despite his objections, Conner went ahead and called him the n-word twice during the filming of his ejaculation, aka the money shot. She is heard saying “Give me that nigger load. Give me all that nigger cum,” in the video uploaded on dogfart.com, a porn network run by DF Productions.
Interracial videos
It is not immediately clear whether the video is still available on dogfart.com, whose content mainly comprises of interracial videos.
Moe’s lawyer, Dan Gilleon, expressed his regret about the incident. “The use of the n-word in the workplace is considered by courts, and our society, as the most offensive racial slur imaginable,” he said. “It embodies the evil of racism.”
“Unfortunately, Dogfart makes a lot of money catering to racists in our society, so they were willing to dupe Moe into performing this scene, knowing Ryan Conner planned to use this vulgar language,” he continued.
In the lawsuit, Moe alleges that DF Productions Inc. “targets racist viewers and entices them into paying DFI money in exchange for the right to view racist adult films.”
To make matters worse, Moe claims to have requested the company to edit the footage after it came to his attention that it was being sold online and although the company promised to do it, it was simply an empty promise. He is now suing for ‘fraud, negligence, and failure to prevent racial harassment’. In addition, he is also seeking restitution for ‘lost wages, emotional distress, and embarrassment.’
He says the company knowingly created a “work environment” that was “hostile and racially abusive” while also likening the verbal attack to an ambush. “I just felt violated and betrayed,” the 36-year-old Bronx native said. “I’ve shot over 50 scenes for this company. For a long time, I was one of their top guys. And I’m always publicly talking about racism. For them to even ask me was an insult, then to do it against my will, it hurts. It feels like it was a setup.”
Discrimination
Apart from using the racial slur against his wishes, Moe the Monster also alleges that Cable Rosenberg, the owner of the production company, together with the director insulted him in a series of texts.
“Make your dick hard again and stop being a beta male … It’s getting embarrassing. Any more tortious interference and we’ll take this to court,” Rosenberg is said to have texted, according to the lawsuit.
Another of his texts read; ‘You fucking impotent limp DICK begging to be on our set coward’. Rosenberg went ahead to threaten Moe with: “Let’s see you say this shit in prison you punk. You have ever been to prison Moe???…I’ll meet you there soon.”
On his part, director Camp is alleged to have told Moe: “You’re a disgrace. To your people. To your family. To yourself.”
Moe claims that discrimination is rife in the porn industry, with black actors being discriminated against while working in the industry.
“I want that word and those types of stigmas to be eliminated from the adult industry,” said McKnight.

It appears like the normally tough Moe the Monster has been stripped naked. Even to anyone unfamiliar with the porn genre, it’s clear that whatever happened to him has no place in a civilized society leave alone the adult entertainment industry.
