Deepfakesmain

Combining the words ‘deep learning’ and ‘fake’ deepfakes is probably one of the weirdest things to revolutionize erotic entertainment and the internet at large. And if you think you know everything about them, I think I may be able to surprise you with some new data. So, to get a tasty blog treat, keep on reading and let me shock you.

Let’s start with the basics – what are deepfakes exactly?

ScarletCensor

Given the origins of the name, you might think that this is a new thing, and it kind of is but is older than you might think. The idea of photo-manipulation goes all the way back to the 19th century when photography was invented.

But let’s be real, that’s not what’s interesting about this phenomenon.

True deep fakes started out as an experiment only experts could pull off in the nineties. By using AI, computer experts figured out how to blend pics of different people to make it look as if someone is posed in a photo they’ve never actually taken.

Then as artificial intelligence software improved and became cheaper, amateurs started swapping out face pics of celebrities and other famous people on photos of other people. Not only that, but people could even do the same with full-motion video.

As with just about everything involving computers and media, randos online started producing deepfakes of a pornographic variety. Specifically, many deepfake makers made a name for themselves by slapping the faces of actors and musicians on the bodies of big-name porn stars.

This has led to quite a lot of controversy, outrage, and some fascinating works of what some would call ‘art’ all over the place.

Here is how you identify what is legit and what is a deepfake

What is Legit and What is a Deepfake

As a general rule, if it looks fake, it almost certainly is. But with deepfakes becoming increasingly sophisticated, it can be increasingly tricky these days. However, fear not (!) there are still plenty of telltale traces that a picture or video isn’t what you think it is.

Funny moving lips

One of the hardest things to simulate when it comes to computer graphics and deepfakes are the way that the lips move. Even the best of the best when it comes to digital manipulation and special effects have a difficult time making a mouth move correctly.

And even when they are assisted by advanced AI, it’s very common to watch the mouth not sync up with the dialogue or even seem to float around the face. If you spot that, then you’re almost certainly watching a deepfake.

The eyes look ‘off’

Another thing that VFX artists often discuss when it comes to using computers to create or alter a face is how to make the eyes look correct. For whatever reason, the human mind has a knack for picking up certain facial features, especially the eyes. Granted, modern deepfakes look better these days, but if someone’s eyes aren’t locking onto a person or object, the footage has probably been manipulated.

Other unnatural facial and body cues

Most people tend to emote quite a bit by changing their pitch, ‘talking’ with their hands, and shifting their body posture. Of course, when someone is doing a face swap, it’s hard to get the ‘face’ person and ‘body’ person to match up. With few exceptions, only the most diligent deepfake makers can hunt around for footage of the two people, which matches on an emotional level.

There are sudden changes in movement

This is usually true for shallow fakes, but they can be hard to spot if you’re not eagle-eyed. Sometimes deepfake creators will alter the speed at which a clip plays to suggest the intent of the person or get them to match up with a voice or some other element of the shot.

If the featured person is a mainstream actor

If you check on my blog have I have written about actors who have made the jump from doing erotic photography or the such like into the mainstream. There are even some former models who do the opposite and go from ‘acceptable’ entertainment to the pornographic variety. The thing is that’s rare – hardly ever does happen anymore.

Plus, with authorities responding to #Thefappening and cracking down on revenge porn, the only way you could probably find a supposed nude of a famous celeb it’s only because it’s not real.

This is the sort of software that is used to make these things

This is the sort of software

According to tech company deeptrace, back in September 2019, the number of deepfake videos nearly doubled compared to what it was in January of that year. And get this, 96% of them are of the adult variety, and almost all those were of faces of female celebrities.

So, you might think that it takes a lot of technical know-how and all sorts of programs to put these things together. However, there isn’t that much software required to make a proper deepfake.

The pros may use beastly equipment to do what they do, but amateurs can do some pretty impressive work simply by using an app like Zao. After that, it’s just an issue of getting a few photos or some video footage and going to work.

Is this legal and what my thoughts are on this phenomenon

OrginalDeepfake

To be honest, I’ve got mixed views on deepfakes of all sorts. On the one hand, I get the outrage over deepfakes, which mislead people especially given the way the world is now. I further understand that there are concerns over the fact that this phenomenon is being used to attack women.

On the other hand, you can’t just go around telling people what kind of art they are allowed to make. I mean, what’s next, a crackdown on horny buggers who draw or paint salacious famous folks?

Besides, since so many of these creations are of celebrities, it’s worth remembering that they are public figures. They should expect to see flattering and fap-worthy parodies that feature their image. This is just another form of that.

Then there is the legal issue. In some places, deepfakes are perfectly legal so long as they don’t involve stolen data. However, there is the issue of copyright violation, which can be tricky to manage, depending on whether or not local courts consider a Deepfake to be significantly different from the original images to be a parody.

There are other areas like Scotland that consider deepfakes to be a form of revenge porn and heavily punish people for releasing or even saying you’re going to release such things. By contrast, England is a little different, though, since you can create and share significantly modified images.

So, be fair warned, depending on where you live, if you look up the sites listed below. I may be a wild fucker myself, but I don’t want to be responsible for anyone running up against the law.

Need to know where to find the best of these? I’ve got a list for you

AngelinaCensored

Okay, let’s get to it, some of the three finest deepfake platforms to be found anywhere on the web. I’ve done a lot more writing on them in the past (more on that later), but it only felt right to do a quick rundown on these five.

Deep Fake Porn

Bam! The homepage of this site is packed with loads of videos, some of which are a mere minute while others are the same length as what you’ll find on mainstream porn tubes. The selection is incredibly impressive, and the site design ain’t bad either.

Celeb Jihad

This curiously named site is a bit on the rude side, and that’s coming from me. According to the site, it was founded by a (fictional) character going by the name of Durka Durka Mohammed. After a series of bizarre adventures, he thought it was his religious duty to ‘expose’ sinful women who show off their bodies.

It’s all bullshit, of course, but not all of you are going to really ‘get’ what this site is about. However, if you’ve got a taste for humor even more sarcastic and darker than mine,

Mr. Deep Fakes

Some deepfake websites only focus on famous folks from one part of the world. That’s not at all the case! Just give it a quick look, and you’ll see every colored kind of ladies who hail from all over the planet. Be aware that you can only buy tokens using bitcoin.

ThePornDude’s final words about deepfakes

My regular readers probably were expecting this, but those of you who are new should know that I have been at this game for a long ass time. As such, I have a few more posts related to this lovely little topic.

For one, I would suggest you check out my more complete reviews of the deepfake sites I covered plus a few more. If you still can’t get enough on this topic I got ya all covered there as well with even more coverage on deepfakes on this blog.

Until the next one goes up, have fun fapping.
