In my line of work, there is rarely a dull moment. One minute I’m promoting my recent work on Twitter and engaging with my adoring fans the next I’m setting up for a shoot, then I’m interviewing a lovely lady for a said shoot.
What comes next is even better, as I’m sure you can guess. In a recent shoot, I got to meet and (Biblically) know Ms. Ember Snow. While she may be rather petite, Ember Snow has the intensity and sexual energy to melt blocks of ice.

To start, thanks for taking the time to talk to me, I think we’ll have a lot of fun. For those who are unaware, how long have you been in the adult entertainment industry and why did you decide to get into the business?
Okay, I have been in the adult entertainment industry for more than four years now. My porn anniversary in February 2021, and I decided to get into the industry because, at the time, I was an aspiring mainstream actress and model.
But as you know, that industry is very hard to break into and I did not want to be that nervous actress in auditions anymore, and it also happens that was around the time I lose my virginity. After those experiences, I was thinking what else is out there? I wanted to do my own films. I want to be on the other side of the table so why don’t I make my own films, and explore my sexuality at the same time.
How do people react when they find out about your profession? For that matter, how open are you with civilians about your career?
The thing is, I don’t immediately tell civilians that I do porn. If I’m recruiting, I usually just send someone my Instagram account information, and let them figure it out. Surprisingly, many of them have been surprised in a good way. Others have no comment, others are like “good for you girl, do you.”
On that note, do you think that people are becoming more or less receptive to the idea that people do porn these days and if so why is that?
I think a lot of it has to do with OnlyFans. Since it’s so open to the public it’s not shocking to hear that we do more. Even civilians these days are starting to do nudes or more than that. I do think people are becoming a little more receptive – a little.
So, Ember Snow, that’s a very beautiful name and one with a delightful level of contrast. How did you come to pick that moniker?
Okay, so, I’ve never experienced snow in my life except for one time when I was with a friend in Idaho. I fell in love with the sight of snow and when my friend and I were bucking around we were coming up with names we would have if we did porn. One we thought of was Yuki, because ‘yuki’ means ‘snow’ in Japanese, but I had to change that because I’m not Japanese. I am Phillapina. It would also be stereotypical for an Asian.
I wanted to be a little bit different. At first, I was going to be November Snow, but when I looked that name up I found out there was a September Rain, so I wasn’t the only one being clever. So, I changed it to Ember Snow.
And yes, there is a contrast. Snow is very pure, very white. If you were to see me, you would guess that I wouldn’t do porn. I’m very innocent looking. However, embers are that which melt that innocence away.
My research informs me that you are in the top 1% of OnlyFans. First, congratulations on that; you certainly have earned that position. And second, how did you plan to get to that level of prestige?
I work as much as I can. When I do concentrate with other people. If they are able to do more than one clip at a time, great. I like to prep and present as much as possible, I guess you could say that I like to work a ton. I’m a workaholic!
How do you think that OnlyFans and similar sites have influenced the industry?
We mentioned earlier that the public may be more receptive to the idea of people doing porn. Back in the porn days – by that I mean the ’70s and ’80s they did not have this kind of opportunity. It’s a lot of work, but in many ways, it’s a good thing for us. It teaches us how to direct, write, and produce our own content. We don’t have to wait for a studio. We can simply go directly to someone and make magic together. We can collaborate on ideas, rather than rely on a studio script.
When it comes to the foreseeable future, what trends do you think are going to continue or rise up in the business? Feel free to interpret that question as you will.
I still think people are going to like amateur work, still. Anything that is relatable and realistic, I think is something people will enjoy seeing. But porn has always been about fetishes and I don’t think that is ever going away.
I have heard that you have a “thing” for men in uniform. Am I correct, and what other sorts of stuff are you into?
I have a thing for men in uniform because they are usually very diligent. They do a lot of difficult work, and there is the respect factor – plus, they do a lot for us.
As for other stuff, I am into femdom. I don’t get to do a lot since it’s so niche, but it’s very enjoyable. The different kinds I like are humiliation, pegging, and even sadistic stuff like kicking a guy in the balls, using whips. I don’t if that’s your thing, but it’s a good release.
I have noticed that you do a lot of scenes with women of which I am very much a fan. Do you prefer scenes with men or women, or are you up for fun with any gender equally?
The thing is, and when I started I was working with men, but I don’t know what happened. I love working with women. I’m good with both!
In your scenes, I get the idea that you are – and I mean this as a good thing – a pretty aggressive performer. What do you consider yourself; are you more of a dominant or submissive person?
I am more of a dominant. I cannot be a submissive person. I cannot lay there and take it and wait for the dom to do something. I like getting what I want, and I think that if a woman were watching my scenes, I hope she thinks she can get it, too.
Since we are talking about preferences, what are the favorite type of videos that you like to shoot? Please, be as open as you can.
The types of shoots that I like to do are those that have a plot or even a script. Even if it takes twelve hours to shoot, I don’t mind. You have to understand, I started out as wanting to be a mainstream actress, so if there’s a little bit of a plot and script I’m good to go. It’s like a kink, it gives me motivation, a reason to fuck the person.
Sometimes I find that models’ sexuality is directly reflected by their work in the porn industry. Then there are those individuals who only sexually express certain aspects of themselves in private with a partner. What I’m asking is this, is your performance as a model is an echo of your sexuality entirely, or do you keep certain things about your love life private?
For the most part, I am. I got into this business wanting to explore my sexuality, so everything you see I try to be as genuine as I can. There are a few things I save for some I’m within private like creampie, it’s not something I allow anyone to see. You guys get to see a lot, I have to save something for myself.
Do you have an interest in getting in production, directing, or writing in the adult entertainment industry?
Definitely production and directing. I’ve already thought of this as a Plan B. My body isn’t always going to look like this. So yeah, I’ve already produced at least one feature film that got an AVN nomination for Best Comedy. Production is a lot of work, but if you see your finished product, it’s all worth it. I’m good with directing, too.
One of the most interesting things that you have done is your national tour #EmberDoesAmerica. How has that been going?
We’ve received a lot of interest in this. The first stop is shocker, going to be Hawaii. And now I can sponsor this so we’re moving forward. I have not been to all fifty states but would like to. No town is too small, I want to see it all.

You obviously have traveled a lot. Where in The United States, or the world for that matter, do you find people who know how to fuck best?
A lot of my social experiences are in the industry. I normally don’t ask where they are from. And yeah, I have traveled around the world, but that was when I was really young. I guess I cannot really tell you.
With respect to the future, what do you plan on doing when it comes to performance?
In a couple of words: a lot. There are some acts that I want to do but haven’t because of COVID like a gangbang or a blowbang. We’re limited by how many people can be on set but soon we can do that.
When you are not working, how do you like to relax?
I like watching a lot of television shows and films. I love watching a lot of actors’ and actresses’ performances. I love a performance that’s going to hit me emotionally.
