As all of you know who read my blog or my reviews, I love women but am not in any way either a misogynist or a feminist.

I have to point this out because one thing both groups have in common is that they think that women in the adult industry flame out after a couple of years or even a few months the business. And the only people who last very long and make any amount of money have to be under the age of thirty.

However, there are plenty of pretty ladies who would be considered to be mature out there and are extremely successful at being erotic entertainers.

One of them, who I recently had the pleasure of talking to, was the amazing Ainslee Divine. Not only is she a hot webcam model, but she has a fascinating backstory, which I’m sure you will enjoy reading.

Divine11

Before joining the webcam world, did any webcam model inspire you?

No, I honestly didn’t really know too many webcam models before I joined the industry. However, I will say that I’ve been a fan of Brandi Love for a long time! She’s just so damn beautiful and a shrewd businesswoman. Plus, we are similar in age, and I really can appreciate what she’s done with her career.

What motivated you to get into a cam girl business? And why at the age of forty?

I was actually forty-two if you can believe it! It was a huge leap of faith. I knew nothing about camming or, for that matter, the industry in general. But I thought “fuck it” and decided to put myself out there. So, I considered joining the cam industry as a logical start to getting into the adult industry.

I connected with a well-known professional content producer of a solo model website. He said to me, “If you really want to get out there and get well-known and making serious money, this is the direction you should go.”

Since my age wasn’t a negative factor, jumping in was the next logical step. Because the MILF genre is so huge, I actually think my age helps me a lot. There are not a lot of ladies like me who want to get naked and naughty on the internet as a full-time career path.

How do you manage to stay competitive with other younger models despite being a MILF?

I don’t like to compare myself to others. I appreciate that my fans are into me, and it’s very satisfying.

But to answer your question, I workout daily and watch what I eat. I think my own success relies on my looks, personality, style, and methods.

Also, I try to be as engaged with my fans as much as possible. My favorite way to do this is through my Twitter account.

Do you have any regrets about being in this industry?

Absolutely not.

One of the things I hated about working in corporate America was the monotony. This industry is always changing and makes everyday fun and different. I’m always entertained and never bored, which is a surprisingly pleasant perk when it comes to my job.

Further, I have made so many amazing friends and been able to network with loads of people connections.

To sum up, I love my job.

Why did you first create your Instagram account under a different name? Did you feel the need to hide your real identity?

Yes, on my Instagram account originally, I used a different handle. The reason was that I was the owner of a “mainstream” business and couldn’t come right out with who I was. Even my business partner didn’t know that I was a webcam performer.

But I wanted to promote myself, and so I opened an Instagram account.

It started out as fun only and wasn’t there for “Ainslee Divine.” I didn’t really have a focus when I started. I wanted to post pics and not have it attached to my real name and life, at least not then.

I didn’t monetize my modeling at all at first, either. Once my Instagram started getting a ton of followers, monetizing was the next step, which led to changes and more focus, which you can see at Chasing Ainslee on Insta.

What was your husband’s reaction when you first suggested to him that you would get into this line of work?

Honestly, he didn’t really think twice about it. He’s always been supportive of everything that I do. He looks at everything with an optimistic attitude.

Divine33

Have you and your husband ever thought of trying out couples live cam shows?

I’ve asked him, but the answer is always the same: “no.” As he says all the time, “you’re the model, not me.”

Has your work ever affected your relationship with your husband?

As much as it may surprise people, not at all. If anything, it has actually had a positive impact on our relationship.

As I said, we don’t work together in front of the camera, but behind the scenes, he’s been helping me a lot. Being an adult model has opened my eyes to a lot of perspectives I had never previously considered — the same thing with my husband.

Once my modeling career took off, and he retired, we choose to become business partners to promote my brand.

Do you have any kids? Do they know what you do and how do they feel about it?

Yes, I have one adult son. He’s a college graduate with an engineering degree, and I couldn’t be more proud of him. And yes, he’s fully aware of what I do and supports me.

Have you considered retiring in the near future?

No, not at all.

I hope to be doing this for years longer and expanding my role and other opportunities within the industry and constantly meeting new people and making new connections. There are several models out there who are considerably older than me and making well up to the six figures annually.

When it comes to making money, do you think that everyone can make that much money?

When it comes to me, the camming business has treated me very well.

That said, it’s not for everyone. It’s very hard work, especially when it comes to staying relevant on social media. Ultimately though, it is a job, and it’s one that I enjoy and love. You have to treat it like a “real” career if you want it to pay well.

So yes, I support that statement but with conditions.

What makes you so confident about your body even at your age?

Even at my age?! There are plenty of women and men decades older than me who are confident about their bodies.

Personally, for me, my confidence comes from loving my body. And if you love it as much as I do, then you’ll exude that love on camera.

I do work hard to stay in shape. So, confidence comes from within, and it translates to how you carry yourself. A lot of how my body looks is from how I’m desired by fans. I’m regularly told that I have a body that a 25-year-old would be envious of. That level of positive feedback significantly adds to my confidence.

I noticed that you only do your shows with dildos and other women. So, I’m wondering why you haven’t any men been featured in your shows?

Guys ask me that in the chats all the time.

I choose to keep things as they are. As a married woman, I want to keep certain things about my life, including my sexuality, to be personal. Or at least between my husband and me.

Almost all of my fans want to see me perform with a guy, and some are even turned off by the fact that I don’t work with men.

I really just have to keep something for myself since I share everything else with everyone in the world. I’m very successful in doing what I’m already doing and don’t feel the need to change that. I will say that if I started doing scenes with men, my popularity and income would explode.

What can you say you owe to your success on your many social platforms?

For one, hard work. Second, my infectious personality. Third, being a decent human being and treating people well. Fourth, and maybe most importantly, being engaged with my fans and paying attention to shifts and trends on social media.

My fans are the best, and I’m so grateful for them and their support. They are my career, so making sure they are taken care of is a top priority. This is the reason I’m constantly updating my new OnlyFans page.

Has any fan ever come at you with any negative comments? If yes, how did you handle it?

Oh god, every day I get them.

But for every guy who sends me a bad comment, there are literally thousands of good ones. I just don’t waste my time with that one trolling me and choose to move on. I know I’m not the perfect model for everyone. I understand that there is a girl out there for every guy. I can’t be everything to everyone.

What I would tell prospective models focus on the good and don’t give the bad ones a second of your time. In this industry, you have to take the bad with the good and move on. Don’t dwell on negativity.

How much are you enjoying your job?

As I said, I love what I do. I love that it’s never the same thing day to day. And I love that what I do makes people’s days better and can take them away from a bad situation or feelings they are having that particular day, even if it’s just for a few minutes. I get to work from home in a safe space. I love owning my own business and making my own hours and putting my own spin on everything I do.

Did you get into the industry for lots of money, a passion for sex, or both?

Honestly, it’s about both. Making money is important, and I treat this business like a career, but having the ability to do all that I previously had mentioned is also a major driving force to why I like it so much. Still, the money does allow us many more opportunities, including more travel, more content production, and meeting more people. This, in turn, allows me to expand my brand and offer more to my fans.

Have you undergone any plastic surgery, or how is it that you manage to look this sexy at your age?

I do have breast implants, but other than that, my body is all me. Sure it’s not perfect, but I love it and apparently so do my fans! I have worked very hard to get it to where it is and keep it that way. I’m in front of a camera all day long, so it’s a driving force to look my best and part of my daily routine.

I think another thing that adds to my sexiness is that I’m approachable. I’ve never gone for the look of the “unapproachable perfect model.” I try to grab everyone’s attention by being completely real, and it has helped me build my brand on it. As well, I don’t enhance any of my photos either. What you see is what you get.

Have you considered transitioning into the studio porn industry?

Not really. I have thought about it, though. I’m successful and happy doing what I’m doing now, so I haven’t really considered this. It takes away from a lot of the reasons why I love doing what I do.

Stop working from home? Stop being my own boss? That is not for me. It’s great that it works for others, though.

The industry has changed so rapidly over the years. And although I have a good understanding of the porn industry quite well, I can make money from my house using just my iPhone and laptop. No need for a producer or editor or any other middleman.

The porn industry was absolutely a necessity to be successful years ago and for some still is, but now girls of all walks of life are empowered by technology and have the tools to market themselves all by themselves.

I’m sure many young women are also curious about how you’ve managed to keep your breasts firm. What would you say to them?

Find a great plastic surgeon!

What advice would you give to anyone intending to join the camming world?

Oh my. I could talk forever about this.

Your first decision is whether you are all in or not, or just for fun. If you are all in, then it’s a career and needs to be treated as such, always. You have to be able to build a brand, promote yourself, and work the hours. Find the right platforms that work best for you and so much more. There is tons of work that needs to be done before you ever start broadcasting live.

So do your research!

Not everyone has all of the resources that I had, including the ability to work from home or the ability to buy all the equipment.

From having an LLC to a CPA, an attorney, and a full checking account to get off the ground is crucial. It also helps to have a mentor.

These are just some of the things you need to consider. Take care of it all before you get started. So many people start and give up so quickly. But keep in mind, the money you make in the first thirty days is not a good indication of what you will make long-term.

You need to be willing to put in the time and effort, which often translates to a minimum of six months for many.

For how long have you known about the PornDude website, and what is your favorite thing about it?

I think it’s a very cool platform that offers a lot of information to consumers and opportunities to give performers like me a voice! I’m relatively new to knowing about it. It’s a slick and attractive looking resource and so easy to use. Thank you for it and for this opportunity to get to know me better. I’m honored!

PornDude’s final words

Obviously, I like writing about porn websites, but as Ainslee pointed out, I also enjoy giving a voice to the individual performers themselves. After all, without the lovely ladies who perform in front of the camera, there would not be an adult entertainment industry.

So, if you guys know anyone who is in the business has a good body, a great personality, and wants a shoutout, send them to me on Twitter. I love doing interviews like this and am always up to talk to anyone who has the courage and desire to exhibit themselves for other people’s erotic delight.
